    Just bought a 1985 Hornby catalogue, don't know why other than I want to see the original Thomas models.

      I still have the GW150 Edition set, containing a King, 3 GW coaches, an oval of track, a 1/4amp controller, and a certificate.

       

      This is beginning to sound like The Generation Game....

      I think my first set was the Triang/Hornby freightmaster with Class 31 D5572. I inherited it from my dad, my own first was a tender driver FS set from 1993. I loved that artwork.
