  1. You will find most model clubs DON'T use Hornby track on there Exhibition layouts. They use Peco code 75 or finescale track. It's your layout and code 100 track . I recommend Peco track in any scale .
  2. The mini cooper can be changed to a basic mini . cut the spot lights off and file the O/S fuel cap off . About 8 years ago my local Poundland had Cararama models . Got quite a few at the time . The one i wanted was the Bubble car got one in the end when on holiday in Madeira. Now sold some as they where far over scale.
  3. If you have used the Brown Dettol. Use Gloves when you remove the body from the container. As it can BURN your skin.

  12. Went passed the old Southerham cement works today at Lewes. Remember the scrap yard to the rear with old Brighton Trolleybuses in The Seaford Branch had Aggregates trains loadid from ships at Newhaven.
  13. The Eastbourne to Hastings line as been very poor for Freight over the years. Worse after the Eastbourne void line was closed. The only Freight was tankers for Galley Hill Bexhill or the DEMU depot at ST Leonards in the 1970's . Plus a Ballast train for rail works with a class 33 or 73. These day's it's DMU'S's or EMU'S . You may get the odd Network Rail test train or rail tour .

  17. Each year my model club put's old Mags on a table at the Exhibition. With a notice on them Take what you like Free mags. At the end of the Exhibition we still have to put a lot in a Skip. These day's nobody seems to want them.
  18. I Don't know as i use a Airbrush these days . The only can's i use are Primer cans from Halfords.

  23. I use small fine files and wet and dry paper. You can use a nail file . When the wife is not looking.
