Great to have you back Mikkel and to look at and read those wonderful models and stories. I look forward to whatever it is that you produce next.

Lovely model. This is one of my favourites too, I have five at the moment (4mm) and am looking to increase that further maybe by some scratchbuilding if necessary.

Hi Julia
I am left speechless.
Brilliant

Nice to know there are more out there starting again - 28 years for me. Best of luck with your future work after a successful trial run. I'm currently renovating an old K's Dean Single to brush up on my techniques before I start on all my other part or unbuilt kits.
Look forward to seeing your work in the future.

Good to know you sorted out the issue. I am looking forward to your progress and some pictures in the future.

Great stuff again Mikkel.
I find your work and stories so inspirational that I have frantically been making space for my efforts long before I get the new shed to put it in. I just hope I get the time and that my skills match or at least get close to your work.
I look forward to the next part eagerly.

Lovely little tale again Mikkel, I look forward to the next part. I particularly liked the shot of the Station Master with all the detail around him. Great work.
I wonder if I will ever match it?

A nice little tale Mikkel. Like you I have or am selling some locos that have been part of my life for years and it is sad to see them go. But life moves on and the clear out will focus my attention on what's left.
Keep up your good work.

Hi
Sorry to hear about your health, as a fellow sufferer I know what it can be like. I have another appointment with the Rheumatologist soon as things had got worse for me.
I hope you find the motivation to to get on with you kits and layout building and keep us updated.
All the best

All the best for you both in 2012. I too had to take early retirement in 2010 to care for my wife (at 55) and even though it was hard to start with we have now adjusted life and enjoy our time together. I hope your retirement is as enjoyable as mine.
All the best for Christmas and the New Year.

Fantastic. I hope my Edwardian scene looks as good when I get round to it.

I agree. I have been away from railway modelling since 1984 and apart from a brief spell between 2002 and 2004 I had not touched anything. Using the web to find out which companies still existed or who had taken over who was invaluable.
I am now using it to sell off a lot of my fathers stuff so that I can buy what I want. Also joining sites like this has been a mine of information.
How did we cope without it?

I agree with this method too. I always use natural materials whenever I can and am still even a user of the dyed tea leaves, I think it is good to recycle whatever you can rather than buy new.
