  1. Think it's the fact that the light source appears to be low and to the left and the way in which, in the first B&W pic, the rear of the loco is seen in shade. This contrasts with the side panels which are picked out. Lovely.
  2. Crikey, that looks good in B&W doesn't it ?
  3. I think you're misinterpreting the voices Rob - they are not telling you to interfere with the excellent Osney, they are telling you to begin another layout.......
  4. That's excellent Mike, I like both the houses themselves and the idea of creating the illusion of space by the use of the mirror - it works for me. Looking forward to seeing how you 'weather' the houses as well.
  5. You've given me serious 'shed envy' Anthony, what an amazing venue for what I'm sure will be a superb layout I'm also struck by how many modellers there are on far flung shores modelling bit's of Britain - can I take it that you have emigrated ? Please keep the posts coming....
  6. Excellent - been looking for some pictures of this as Jim doesn't have any on his website, as I expect you know. Look to have made a nice job of it there, Rob. May I ask how long it is please ? (exclude the buffers) Regards, Chris.
