    Washed out roads, brand new waterfalls, flooding, local disaster areas and police roadblocks - all in one drive to Calgary. Good luck to the people who's homes and lives are affected.

      Luckily, my family are all in higher areas. Still have a few friends in the evacuated neighbourhoods though. I won't check in with them till later this morning. 7 hour difference.

      Everyone is fine. A few evacuated but staying with friends. Its a real mess with the Bow river still rising.

    Wildlife central today. I nearly strimmed a snake this afternoon, then tonight a skunk was promenading down the garden path!

      haha, the snake was ok, but when we saw the skunk we spent a frantic two minutes making sure the dog was inside the house!
