Bill goes flubbalubbalubbalub.
Because he was having a stroke.
There’s a more off colour version of this joke but in the interests of good taste, I will avoid it.

Don’t worry about what other people think. They don’t do it very often.

Can Kadees be fitted to TT120 stock?
(Can’t find an answer anywhere.)
Thanks

Truck mounted couplers are generally associated with lower quality equipment when found on freight stock.

Agreed. I chopped them off and made a body mount if I was keeping the trucks or, more usually, dumped the trucks entirely and fitted a body mount for a Kadee.
Some cheap (& nasty) locos had truck mounted couplers but these were best avoided completely anyway.

The best place for it; well, maybe except for the raised pollution levels it would cause! 😉
Quite agree. Can’t abide the stuff.

Could it be slop in the rods, causing them to touch something? This is pure speculation, not knowledge by the way.

Anyone with small children who has watched the cartoon series Marsha And The Bear will recognise the loco!

Hi Steve,
The loco looks good, catte Lane is an old favourite of mine and I'm glad it's still around, are you exhibiting around york or Thirsk area this year?
Thanks Jerry. At the moment, I will be at Bridlington in September and Selby in November.

Nice layout and mixing up the prototypes makes it even more fun.
Just for a change, had you considered European stock?
Have a look at Diversion/Umleitung to give you an idea of how it can look.

Chop off the axle boxes and anything else below the chassis, paint it and weather it grotty and plant it in a field as a shed.

Living proof that Eton doesn't provide a great education.
Just an insufferable feeling of smugness, superiority and privilege.

Mind you, we had worse Winters in the 60s: Mike and Bernie.
Allegedly, when asked what he and Ernie Wise would be if they weren’t comedians, Eric Morecombe replied instantly “Mike & Bernie Winters.”

Even our own Mr Rees-Mogg is in favour, well that's what he said when he wrote back to me about this 👍
Can’t see anyone wanting to steal him though.

Anyone recognise the railway location from Vera last night?
4 tracks but most of them rusty and 2 were just sidings. 143 action for the ‘service’!
