  1. These are from an album I made to show Dad, who was by 1992 more-or-less house-bound, what the new-look Liverpool Street was like. I nipped over there in my lunch-hour from Bermondsey. Did a quick photo tour and headed back. I took lots more inside and around the station and included a few of the refurbished details,
  2. London scene with a bus on a bridge - new rule - every day what ever the theme there must be one photo with a bus on a bridge!
  3. Trying to keep to less obvious locations within the Greater London region
  4. This depot is tucked away beside one of the busiest junctions in London, where services from Victoria, London Bridge and Blackfriars/Thameslink meet with the East London Overground line and head south to Croydon
  5. This must be some of the oldest and most heavily used infrastructure around in London - cast iron pillars under the London & Greenwich Railway in Bermondsey.
  6. This was an exhibit at the Brighton Model World Exhibition 2016, by the 7mm Narrow Gauge Society - no train - no track - no layout Has anyone else been to one of those now defunct multi hobby exhibitions and has a photo or two to prove it?
  7. The initial post said Midland or Central - that could leave it open to.....!
  8. I hadn't noticed until now, but the back set of drivers seem to be missing and other wheels appear to be off the rails.
  9. Weston-super-Mare is fairly far west - any further at that point on the coast and you're in the Bristol Channel.
  10. A rather less exotic location, a 313 emu passes between the local sailing club, nestled behind the sea defences, and the modern part of Bishopstone.
  11. I don't think any of my railway photos show anything further north than Oxford, so it's another one of Dad's next - looking like a solid bit of motive power - but I could be wrong. (Edit - I did take some in NORTH Wales)
  12. A couple more one of which I have used recently and one I just dug out, from a one-off quick visit to Burgess Hill Argos for an only-one-for-miles-around toy for a grandson's birthday. First a pub with a train-set in the cellar. Denmark Hill Station.
