  1. Stunning work,the layout is looking superb! Can i ask you what youve made the ring stines out of on your tunnel mouth? Have you just cut small individual pieces of wills stone up and glued on? Only asking because i need to so something on a bridge im building on my own layout of ais gill summit,just up the line from yourself!! Cheers

Im currently building a loft layout of ais gill summit,and use your tutorial videos on scenery/track weathering etc as youve made them very helpfull and not over complicated So many thanks for that,and what a great layout you have Keep the updates coming mate Cheers

  4. Simply stunning layout! Really impressed with your west riding buildings/stonework. The colour of the stonework looks spot on. Do you mind if i ask how you painted the embossed stonework in detail? Did you start with a black wash then use the lighter colours? Im just curious as id like that sort of finish on my own layout im building. Many thanks

  11. Looking great! Really coming together As for the thornaby 37s,i live 5 mile away from the old depot,remember it well,walking round the yard there on a sunday in the late 80s looking at those locos. Took a few photos. Keep up the good work
  12. Cracking layout! as im just finishing off the baseboards on my loft layout,this thread gives me hope when im getting bored of doing woodwork! Just noticed youre in bingley,long shot I know...   14. good luck with the layout,plenty of pics! nice place is dent,not too far away from another place of mine,ais gill. ive got a couple of old pics of the interior of dent signal box taken by my late grandfather in the mid 60s. theres a couple of 1960s videos of dent station on youtube if you search for it,good stuff on it,9fs,8fs black 5s.

  17. cracking model work! hats off too yer! your visit to toton reminds me of when the old man took me round thornaby shed in the mid 1980s,its only 10 mins from where i live. i,ll have been about 14,and loved it! wasnt an open day,just me and him doing our own thing. the old man took loads of pics,there on slides,i,ll have to dig them out and get them scanned. keep those updates coming mate,great work.
