  1. Thanks to David above I had a go with making a version of this building in 7mm scale. What do you think? Just need to add slates and work out how to paint London Bricks.
  2. Yes it would. The drawings need to be in SVG or DXF format. I'd be happy to cut your parts out to save you the expense of a machine.

  4. Would you be able to share the photo please? I've already noticed that the plans and the photos don't entirely match. For example, the chimney isn't as the drawing.
  5. I have some pictures of St Neots goods shed and weighbridge building. I need to locate the files on an old PC and I'll post them when I do.
  6. I'll have one anyway. It will still be a bargain.
  7. My latest fully finished and detailed Coal Office has just appeared out of our paintshop. this from this, my laser cut kit.
  8. The baseboards and traverser are great. Looking forward to your build on the new thread.
  9. The corners should all be square if care is taken. Fine wet and dry will sand out most problems if needed.
  10. Not painted yet, but a little station building I designed and built. Once its on the platform, the columns can be installed.
  11. Some one said to me today that laser cut brick work doesn't look realistic as it is all too flat and precise unlike real bricks. Do you agree?
  12. 6437 and its crew are a long way from home having just coaled up at Swindon. Ho hum, back to the Valleys.
  13. Low relief North light Goods Shed/Factory or Engine Shed sections.
  14. I recommend Heather Kavanagh to build your class 20.
  15. That would have been a handy picture to have had to hand when I was designing the kit. I'm glad I'm not too far out though.
  16. Chris, Most of my kits are 7mm as that is my main area of personal interest. I will do 4mm for the bespoke work and on request but I have no plans to make 4mm kits available. This building is based on GWR design that was found all over the network. I used pictures and drawings from Slough as this was a slightly smaller version of a coal stage that has already been produced in kit form by another supplier. No point in duplication, unless a significantly improved representation can be made. I've also made the windows, doors and wall panels to be interchangeable so that modellers can create a model more in fitting with their chosen location or time period that they are modelling. It does mean that my kits can look different on each layout. I had always planned to do this as a kit, but it was confirmed orders that prompted me to get my finger out. The first kits will be delivered in early September.
  17. GWR coal stage going through the worship. Couldn't help but take a picture of it in the afternoon sun.
