Image on ebay Item Number 362618808513 Sandside in 1968 Loco Number 44816. I had a walk around the Quarry yesterday and learned that it had permanently closed about 6 months ago. The gates were locked but there still seems to be a fair amount of the infrastructure there. A lot of the trees have been marked up for felling on the West side of the quarry so I won't be mountain biking around those trails before long. Phil

Answered my own Question. It is definitely Teesside. There was a document produced in 1974 here: https://teessidepsychogeography.wordpress.com/tag/torpedo/ I downloaded the pdf and saw on page 10 almost exactly the same image. -

Did you ever imagine that one day the hobby would be enriched with a ready to run 4mm scale model of a Distington Torpedo wagon? For all those in the process of scratchbuilding one........Yah, boo sucks, you ought to have known better.

You have to love a bit of vulgar American Graffiti. Philadelphia, Bethlehem & New England Gondola. Iron Hill Yard (Bethlehem Steel). It made me laugh anyway.
