I think it's cartilage as there is something floating around in my right knee but I haven't been given a scan in over two years of asking (injury has re-occurred twice) and I don't particularly want to take

I would suggest looking at either EM gauge (not everything needs re-wheeled) or OO-sf which allows you to use rtr locos/stock. It might be worth having a look at the 'handbuilt track and Templot' section of the forum.

My hand took the impact, slightly swollen, bruised and limited sideways movement of my wrist. Hopefully not broken but I haven't had it checked. The other guy came off much worse, landed akwardly on his arm and appeared to have broken his collarbone.
