And to think that the 1st May will mark 20 years since we lost him. I was never around to see him race but every time I see footage of him or even a picture I get goosebumps.

I've seen it for the first time too. And, JJG - it was produced with the Royal British Legion.

Even so, even if it was produced with the support of the RBL, I'm still not convinced that it is in the best taste to use such an event for commercial benefit.

Lets hope that Sainsbury's paid a lot of money to the RBL

Spare money goes to models as they are always priority, and spare money from that can go towards the car. But you can never have spare money from modelling, so in theory, no railway modeller should have a car.

Luckily for me I am not doing any modelling atm. I'm planning and the layout boards will be moving home soon. I'll probably be looking at monthly payments which makes life easier.

I would suggest selecting a short list of cars you want, and looking at the prices of those, then going forward from there.

      Alternatively, buy a Mustang!

  22. some **** decided it was a good idea to drift out of their lane and smash into my wing mirror. Goodbye wing mirror and some obscene amount of money. Not impressed.
