  1. Looking good so far. Radley models are definitely going ahead with this as I recently spoke to Phil about it.
  2. Radley models are currently producing a range of bogie stock coaches which will be on sale later this summer. These mainly date from post 1940 and at the moment a 9 comp third, driving trailer, composite trailer and brake/driving motor are on the workbench. I shall be modifying mine to pre 1940 service electrically powered by MW or ashbury motor coach.
  3. This is my first attempt on varnished teak on a Met Rly Circle Line trailer. Several methods were tried the panels. Some clearly are better than others. http://www.flickr.com/photos/25182511@N08/10126618863/
  4. Nothing wrong with the photo, I just hate S stock! If it had been A stock then it would have been perfect!
  5. Shame the S stock ruins the picture! Highfield Rd is a good spot!
  6. L 44/ MET No.1 had an issue with a bearing which is a shame. I'm hoping to pop out tomorrow for a bit to take a couple of shots although the selection of locos is a little bland. Is it just a pannier in use?
  7. Be careful at Chorleywood. I noticed some ground works taking place there last week that may spoil the view.
  8. Just booked my ticket for the 14.08 departure from Amersham! Hope it's 5112!
  9. I'd heard the A stock trips had been cancelled. Where is the news about 6 trips? I shall make enquiries....
  10. Looks good. I wonder which unit of A stock they will use? There are 3 to chose from I believe. Looks like a lot going on so I'll try and pop out for that one.
  11. I really like the detail provided. The dreadnought looks great. You even got the correct bogies on the coach.
  12. Sorry if this sounds a silly question but with the spuds, did you cut of the projecting sections from each axel? If left they will foul the bogie frame and won't run well. I'm planning to use a battery loco with a pair of spuds.
  13. I understand that Radley Models are doing a new improved kit for the GP wagon. The original one was not great (I have one!) but the new is much improved from what I've been told.
  14. The Huntley Book shows fox 7'' which were replaced c1935. I'm putting K2s on mine. They are now available from Radley Models as I'm ordering some.
  15. Try the internet there are lots of pages. I have the book but there are some pictures on the LTM site. Basically there is a box on each part of the underframe, one large one small. What bogies are you going to use. Fox or K2s?
  16. I'm looking to build a pair of these. Probably do one powered - double spud with metal body and one non-powered with a resin body.
  17. Yes I can recommend the A60 stock. They are currently undergoing an upgrade with new seating and there will be an A62 trailer upgrade available later this year. I have built plenty of A stock and I can recommend it! They can look good if you spend some time on them. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m6/Adthelad/DSCN0633.jpg
