  1. This is really frustrating. Im a subscriber but im on holiday. Guess ill just have to wait till tuesday! I have a suspicions though...
  2. Im fairly sure next months (september?) issue isnt out till the 31st.
  3. Apparently the lack of tender pickups was to save money on the tooling as the secr passenger livery was so expensive to make. I have one of the secr livery c classes and it runs like a pig, after having its wheels cleaned thouroghly and having been oiled. Its a shame that they sacrificed performance just to keep the prices down, as im sure many people would rather have tender pickups than a complex liverys (if the rumour i heard was true).
  4. Thanks! I was a little disappointed by the lack of any industrial models from bachmanns new catalogue, but this has really made my day. Hopefully this will bring a new lot of industrial models for oo gauge. It is strange that such a large portion of the countries preserved stock has been ignored for so long!
  5. Finally! A purpose build industrial! I will definitely be pre ordering one. This is a bit of a silly question, but, do you have any idea of when it will be released? Also, will the lined apple green be the same as the ixion hudswell clarke? Finally do you know when ill be able to order one?
  6. It is probably a problem with the image i.e. The camera or the wrong shade on the computer, because all the newly released samples look washed out, and its unlikely that they all will be painted wrong. I do agree that the southern and lbsc livery are a bit basic, and is looks like 473's wheels are weathered? yet again it may be a issue with the image, but it would be very surprised if they weathered the southern version and not a br version. Also on past images put on the Bachmann website the shade is often wrong, like with the new secr c class. Nevertheless, i think the unlined black version looks quite nice
  7. Yesterday at the bluebell model railway exhibition Bachmann had what i think was a BR e4 variant on display:
