  1. Surely not with his hands in his pockets.... It's mainly processing power that is needed for video editing.
  2. In your plan, you have a traverser to shunt with, but you could still use a 'fiddle stick' (similar to a cassette) to supply the bay, single car parcels &/or passenger, plus when not using it, your traverser could feed a parcels van into it.
  3. It just starts with a loco or a wagon.....
  4. Some people use Kadee, some use Tension Lock, & then there are the special types such as Dinghams, Sprat & Winkle, etc. If it is just your railway, it doesn't matter what you choose, but if you intend joining a group, find out what they are using, for compatibility. Edit: As Cromptonnut suggests, there is a layout using Tension lock - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/50114-progress-at-ramchester/page-5
  5. I think I remember someone saying Heljan locos 'can' draw 2 amps a piece, so I would think 5 amp should be OK.
  6. Fair enough. It's your railway after all.
  7. Maybe an idea for you; from what I recall of the Southern versions of these type of barrow, the wooden platforms were almost black through usage & the paint often chipped/flaked.
  8. Peco setrack points & Dapol 08 diesels seem like unicorns & dragons, (mythical beasts).
  9. With regard to 'Other Brands' - C & L are kits, & you can't buy online from Marcway.
  10. Peco 0 gauge setrack was announced in February, I believe, along with promised points, of about 38" radius, my baseboards are still awaiting their arrival!
  11. I reckon, as long as there is a definate physical break between the sceniced layout & the staging/fiddle area, it's OK, because they will be seen as 2 totally different entities.
  12. This may be of interest when you start your next project :- http://www.nmrabr.org.uk/forum/index.php As well as :- http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/155-usa-canadian-railroads/
  13. I'll second that about George Tait's work, there are some videos by George in this thread of Andy's Trebudoc layout. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/54364-trebudoc-in-o-gauge-videos-page-28-29-31-to-33-36/page-46
  14. Did it develop a hot box & was left to get sorted & they forgot about it?
  15. Definately YES, where else are your poor workers going to read their daily paper in peace........
  16. Oh yes it does, it must have at least one front fitted brake to be UK legal! So that is probably what is being discussed.
  17. I think I will give this a try as well, as I'm not getting on with the 3-links for shunting. (Ordered up some Bachmann NEM Mk2 couplings.) Thanks for posting the pictures.
  18. Well I guess you will need something to do when you're not operating Reely Grate.
  19. I very much doubt it!!! The OP did say 'London'.......
  20. Trouble is, they are 'couriers' & give the rest of us cyclists 'a bad name'.
