    Well, today her Ladyship's Motability car goes for good. Now she's detereorated to a degree where she's housebound it is no longer valid. Such is life. (pity I can't walk far! LOL)

      can u not claim for yourself? thru help the aged I believe there is a 'bus' service u can order for going to the hospital AND the shops. You book a lift (they are not the most accurate and the hospital runs tend to be for several so u get stuck on the lowest common denominator....but it is point to point.
