I have fitted both my J72 with an gaugemaster next18 decoder and a KungFu stay alive, as you can see in the video at soon as the power has been turned off the loco goes the opposite direction, is there anything to do with the DCC chip? CV maybe? Help and advice will be appreciated 👍🏻

I’ve got a Class 28 but some how the NEM pockets and couplings have dropped out, is there anywhere that have got them in stock? I have looked at the NEM pockets and they look slightly smaller?

Yep, I contacted them last week, i thought they had to try to get in repaired because of the new Legislation for products to be able to be repaired, apparently not. 

Hi all 

I hear that gaugemaster have stopped repairing their older DCC controllers, although my controller isn’t  broken, my booster has failed. It leave me a bit of a problem as I need the booster as my for my depot layout, there was no alternative given to me. Is this due to the new system that’s coming out? 
 

my next question is there anywhere that I could take my booster to get it repair, with cost ramping up in the sector, it getting/got very expensive 🤦🏻‍♂️

I wonder if a Network Rail 31 will come out? 31465 or 31233? As Is doing the other 2, interesting times 

I wonder if Oxford Rail will be able to take over the wagons for there next release?

Bit of time in the layout tonight back scene now done it’s changed the layout completely! The blue may need to be tone down, I’m sure that can wait.

I still don’t know what to do with the access to fiddle yard and how to disguise it

much work to do but hopefully to get it finish this year and get it out

I’ve tried to do this mod, I’ve got a gaugemaster Next18 chip currently, eventually I want to fit a ESU sound chip, I’ve fitted a KungFu, not sure what I’m doing wrong but it doesn’t seem to sit flat.

With all the 3.5v that I own should I just update to a loksound 5V? 

Hi All, I’m planning to fit some stay alive on some of my older 3.5V loksound decoders, basically my Class 08 fleet. I can’t find the wiring diagram to know where to fit the stay alive any help cheers

The setup on a 37/0 is load reg that is feed engine oil with the engine governor, very similar on a 37/4,5,6,7 with a different type converting it to a electronic signal for the load reg module. You can overload the 37/0 when driving it from a refurbished 37. Along as the drive takes great care in his driving there isn’t a problem, there are plenty of pictures with 37/0 and refurbished in multi! 

I think the B1 needs to go back to the fitters, look what’s happen the Vacuum pipe along the boiler 👍🏻

Unfortunately I didn’t built it, it was for sale on Facebook, these are rare to find. It’s just the right size of loco,

I own a GCR J9 (J11) Pom Pom. My very good friend Tom has done a splendid job of repairing the driving wheel and a full repaint into GCR lined Black livery. Just wondered if there is anyone else on the forum that have a GCR Locos

for this loco is there any specification for making the model? Any ideas when the price is going to be released? 

Would it not be better to have the next18 in the Smokebox? Have the smokebox door removable? Will the loco have stay alive fitted? I’m surprised there is no electrical connection for pick ups in the tender? 

As a laugh can you put one in “Duck” livery 🫣
