Would Rails been doing another re run of the 1948 livery Dynamometer Car? Missed my chance!!
-
Funds are in short supply at the mo! 97301 is rarely used on the ERTMS runs as the Hitachi components have not been passed off!

Got both of my cranes today.
What a fantastic model it is and the detail is on another level. Took a while to arrive from announcement, but good things come to those who wait...
Top marks Bachmann.
Now, the challenge begins motorising them....
Looking forward to that!

Will this work on a DCC Layout? Would you need something to change the polarity?
-
This just a suggestion, is there a chance to have an on/off switch for the tail Lights on the Tender/fuel tank?
-
Glad I put my money where my mouth is! Looks good will be eyeing it up on Sunday!

Just ordered the last 4 wagons of 1151 part number from Olivia trains! I’ve been trying to find some picture of steam Loco pulling them? Can any one help? I do hope Heljan make some more either A or B Tank wagons
-
Just paid my second instalment! When the next up date likely to be?

Hey Mick, when is the layout out on the circuit?
-
Ordered mine Friday! Not sure when they are coming?
-
Any more of these going to be made in their future?
-
Do you think Heljan will make another batch of these?
-
Apologies if asked before, this going to be another run of these models?

I’ve only just open this model from Hornby, as described on a above post my model also have the same issues plus a fractured capacitor, I’m having to send my model way for repair, unfortunately I don’t have the receipt, so this could be costly, the service rep said that the model that I have got is now obsolete and now uses a new chassis.
Receive my class 31 on the 14th of this month they have repaired the PCB which is great but the lights and fan Which are as designed which I do not agree! Opening the box They have snapped off the infrared light which I’ve now got repair myself, i’m pretty disappointed with only Hornby repair because I’ve also got 31233 and that works perfectly with no issues in the fan works and motor works perfectly, time now to find a reasonable price, which are hard to find!

Hi Guys,
I’ve finally managed to get some time to do work on the layout will update hopefully tomorrow!

Finally got there. Made a new lower cover to go over the DCC chip and turned the speakers on their sides, the body just goes on.
I've also modified the box for a round speaker by removing the vertical section by the speakers and drilling some holes in the top. The reason for this was that with the first attempt the sound seemed to be fine for bass, but loosing the treble frequencies. These modifications seem (to my ear) to let more treble out, giving a better overall sound.
Finally, I've cut one of the tracks on the circuit board to enable the interior lights to be switched on and off using the aux 3 function output. I can't tell if it works yet as my test track controller only has 10 functions.
Would you mind giving the product code of DC Kits so I can order? Also are the speakers in series or parallel? Thanks

It could be OTMR/TPWS gear. There are other steam locos on the mainline with various added on quipment and they can often be found on the tender tops.
I'll try and ask my WCRC fireman friend.
When it came through Settle later, it had a white headlamp (black body) with cosmetic headlamps on the outer brackets.
Cheers,
Mick
I would imagine it for the GSMR battery/PCU and aerial

Hello peeps,
Here is a picture of the apron for the Carriage and TMD shed. It's abit scary to do this. Got to smooth out some more.
