  1. Quick summery, cut pcb track to r1, cut track between r1 and r2, add wire from aux 1 on decoder socket to r1 resistor, add wire from aux 2 on decoder socket to r2 resistor.
  2. I have had a good look at the the pcb and cab lights on mine, the cab lights are separately feed from the pcb, so what I have done is cut the pcb tracks going to the resistors for the cab lights on the pcb to isolate them from the track supply and soldered connections to aux1 and aux2 on the 21 pin socket.
  3. I have fitted a Bachmann/soudtraxx decoder to mine and have changed cv33 to 2 and cv34 to 1 which reassigns the lights to the correct direction. With the cab lights being on all the easiest solution looks to be insulating the wiper between the pcb and roof to turn them off completely though after the western and class 22 with independent switchable cab lights this seems a crude solution to the problem.
  4. Are you thinking of the 3 mk3 bso coaches currently used with the fgw sleepers formally on thw wcml?
  5. It looks like a standard cheap Hornby decoder with only four wires soldered onto it and a different plug, hopfully it will be easy to solder the plug on to a lenz mini or simular.
