  1. Thanks Jim, I don't know where it went in '39 but it was attached to 45410 in 10/51 until withdrawal which was a Bescot loco in my period of interest.
  2. Can anyone tell me to which locomotive tender No. 9113 was first allocated? Many thanks, Tim.
  3. It was with the smoke deflecters. I think without them, certainly on the driver's side, it was a handsome machine.
  4. Thanks Ken, Taken by my dad at Bescot in 1963.
  5. Hi Ken, Do you know which one it is going to be?? Tim.
  6. Is this project still live. I have a few pictures if you are interested. Tim.
  7. I am assuming that the location for your fictional station would have been at the bottom of the hill approaching Marlborough from the Kingsbridge side. In which case I would call it Marlborough as this is the best known place between Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Incidentally there are some nice photos of the Branch on the walls in the Loddiswell Inn. It also happens to be one of the best value places to eat out in the South Hams.(No connection, just a very satisfied customer.) Tim.
  8. Damn, looks like the cheque book might get a bashing after all. Any idea on livery?
  9. Looks like this will have to go on the back burner for now. According to gwrbob I will need a 4575 and Dapol are only doing 45XXs. I've got enough Super Ds and Stanier locos to build first without doing a 4575 as well. Many thanks anyway gents. Regards, Tim.
  10. Dapol do this set in O gauge. Could you suggest a suitable loco(s) and livery to go with them?
  11. It is just that these particular coaches are available and would like a loco of that era to go with them. The brown coaches were wartime I believe. I am not really a GWR man but have a life long association with Kingsbridge so this would, for the most part, sit in a glass case. It may have occasional outings when my layout gets built. Tim.
  12. Sorry for this small hyjack of your thread. Tower Models do a GWR brown liveried B Set for the Kingsbridge Branch, could anyone suggest a suitable 45XX to pull it please. Many thanks, Tim.
  13. Hi Newtz, I am a contributer to the LNWR George the Fifth project and know that every little bit counts so I've sent a small donation to V499. Best of luck with the project. Regards Tim.
  14. Hey Newtz, Is that you on the V499 project news clip on Facebook? Tim.
  15. Hi Newtz, Just going back to the frame for a minute I think that you should have London Midland Red on there. Is the Scot yours and if so which one is it going to be ? As always keep up the good work, always a pleasure to see your photos. Tim.
