  1. Happy new year Andy, Looking forward to Beale St. progressing this year... Brian.
  2. That had`nt occured to me as i`ve not really 'played' with thing`s yet, thanks. Likewise, i was enjoy reading back through the post`s here, and i`m really impressed with the loco build`s too. Happy new year, and ooking forward to more in 2017, Cheer`s, Brian.
  3. Morn`in Rich, Sound`s like you`ve been working overtime with the idea`s for the 'Big' layout and very good they sound too.... But think i`ve missed something (or a post?) somewhere!. I thought 'Arksey' was going to be a 50`s - 60`s layout with kettles & diesel`s?,now i read that the 80`s are back on the table!. Please put an old fella`s mind at rest...... That could be danerous mate,as i`ve already made a boo boo on my 'Grampus' wagons .. only a little one mind you,but still made one all the same!. Looking forward to great things coming from the 'flat land`s' in 2017..... Cheers mate, Brian.
  4. Interesting idea,a wagon work`s. Would certainly give you a lot of option`s for shunting or just for pushing a few wagon`s about when bored. So obviously the brake van kit has wetted your appitite for more then..! Brian.
  5. Nice work on both wagons Rob,and the subtle weathing on the VDA set`s it off nicely. One thing i`ve noticed though is you`ve stuck with the solid white metal buffers rather than use sprung one`s. Is this just your personal choice?. Brian.
  6. Not another project Rich..!! Happy new year pal.... Brian.
  7. Tut Tut Andy. It`s only a box on wheel`s...... Brian.
  8. That plan look`s like a winner Andy. Lot`s of different wagon load`s & wagons to play with, and if you feel like a challenge you could always have a bash at one of these; https://www.flickr.com/photos/banburybob/3191690643/in/photolist-5S3fr2-gYVjAb-nj1ynq-ckp457-nbC4yN-pVLfv1-nWqPWd-oLQZEB-i24gJv-d4Ey6s-nr2EbM-c7z4iN-nkLAYE-9roDpJ-qxzhS5-pv5KJr-eAA7Ay-p8qAA6-pXhFvM-ag8xfM-pvb8q3-iMX3G-aRAeSX-dhsEE4-bpFA4N-bnGLPN-qrA4So-q25JSS-pnvnQE-bXYfZG-nwvSxv-h3XApB-aUPFPt-affgB8-gFGCRN-kj729L-auUte2-e17SEv-dbbjBY-9J7yTd-nfqckp-kAGFgd-9HMKe1-oQLTyx-gLTY8P-fEhWPV-eRCN3d-bzdbci-gcJF6t-o6BHnY Cheers, Brian.
  9. It`ll be interesting to see how you get on with this,as i keep thinking of getting one myself if only to model one of two that were used at a local(ish) freight transfer yard in the 80`s/90`s called Pensnett. Cheers, Brian.
  10. I like the ingenuity and 'can do' attitude that you have Sam. You really are building some nice item`s,great stuff. Brian.

And i thought i was doing well with my wagon kit`s........ Nice work Mike. Brian.
  12. Another excellent video Simon. I`m guessing that you`ve used the new camera for the lastest edition?. Brian. PS, i liked the interlude!
  13. These 08`s are addictive are`nt they mate!. I`ve taken delivery of another one, just need to decide what i`ll turn it in to now...... Best wishes for Xmas, Brian.
  14. I have to admit i prefered the original 'Trebudoc',but then i`m not much in the passenger stuff...! I guess it depend`s what you want from your layout, and how much stock you`ll have. An inglenook type layout does`nt need any staging and only has eight wagon`s max. Brian.
  15. Bad thing Cider.....you forget thing`s...like, how to walk!. May you and your family have happy Xmas. Cheer`s, Brian.
  16. Really like the way that the pre-shading works, very effective. And a Happy xmas to your self as well... Cheers, Brian.
  17. Best wishes for Christmas Andy, and here`s to seeing your next O gauge layout develop.... Cheers, Brian.
  18. The wagon kit`s are already lined up and waiting......... Best wishes, Martyn. Brian.
  19. Best wishes to you Jinty and here`s to some more fine modeling next year... Brian.
  20. Satus Quo....it`s not another one of their farewell concert`s again is it ..!! Keep rock`in Rod,& have a happy xmas. Brian.
  21. That sound`s good Si, I`ll have something interesting to watch, rather than all those B****y repeats over xmas on the goggle box.... Brian.
  22. Indeed it is.... As i was looking at buying three of his VTG bogie coil wagons...... Brian. PS, (the more voices the better!) e-mail sent!
  23. would it help if another person voiced an interest with skytrex in them re-running the PCAs?. I keep an eye out my self on flee bay,and not so long ago a handfull came up,but i guess that they went for silly prices. Because the last time that i had looked at the bidding they were going north of £70.00..!!. Anyway i`d love a rake of a half dozen myself, especially in the Albright & Wilson blue livery that Brian has pictured on here. As for Appleby Eng.,i made a couple of attempts at contacting him, once via an e-mail address that i found on line,of which i got the impression he was`nt too happy about. And once via his PO box address,of which the letter was returned to me as the PO box address was no longer valid!. You may have better luck with another avenue, but i`ve given up now!. Brian T.
  24. Excellet vid Simon, Like the overall views of the layout. I `m also going to have to try and emulate some of your editing for my future vid`s aswell ,and find myself a sponsor also...perhaps beer related me thinks..... What camera are you using also?. Cheers, Brian.
