  1. Thanks Jaz it makes sense now. I had never come across that game before.
  2. Im probably being really thick but what is L O N D O N?. I assume you are not referring to the place.
  3. Hmmm - something fishy is going on here. Where do you intend to plaice these? At a whale weigh station?
  4. Get off of my cloud - the rolling stones
  5. Looking VERY good Jaz. What is that fancy gadget that is holding the body? Is is some kind of fancy turntable specifically for models or something that has been commandeered to do the job?

  7. Jaz, you must be fearless, not a livery that can be described as simple. However, based on examples of your previous work, no doubt that it will look fab.
  8. I might be barking up the wrong tree but are you going for this look? https://www.model-railways-live.co.uk/reviews/135/Nigel_Burkin_reviews_the_GBRf_Class_66_from_Dapol/ If so you are very very very brave!!!!!!!!
  9. Wow Jaz. I used to think that the Bachmann fuelling point was a decent model. Then I saw a comparison between your model and the Bachmann one. The Bachmann one looks so boring compared to yours. The addition of figures and the inclusion of minute details really brings your model to life.
  10. The customer reviews for this product are also hilarious: http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B000KKNQBK - Hopefully not too rude.
  11. The willow tree looks really good. Perhaps Aboretime Valley would be a more appropriate name for a layout built in a time warp.
  12. Will you glue the coal into the wagons?, just thinking that coal has a habit of making a lot of mess., especially if the wagons decide to empty themselves halfway round the layout.
  13. Those wagons are looking awesome. The improvement from their original state is unbelievable.
  14. Thanks for your description of your set up. How do you get on with servos compared to point motors? How do they compare in terms of cost, ease of install and reliability?
  15. Jaz, that wagon painting is brilliant. The scenes in post 3133 look real. Where did you get the fencing from that is visible in that post as it really adds to the scene? In response to your question about modelling the inside planks could you design a grid/table of small rectangles on the computer, print them out and stick them to the inside of the wagon. I suppose you could print these in colour or just the outlines and paint between the lines. Kal, nice job with the kadees. Just one question, I assume you are using point motors and accessory decoders to control your points. I was wondering which manufacturers equipment you use for this as DCC point control will be something that I will investigating before too long.
  16. This advert is very similar to the Honda "cog" advert which apparently took over 600 takes.
  17. Jaz, this really is a tree-mendous bit of modelling. It just keeps looking better and better.
  18. That tree is an awesome creation Jaz. I would never have the patience or the skill to make something similar. How about adding a birds nest?
  19. In the house of the rising sun...
  20. Didn't Vernon Scripps also run a funeral directors business? Therefore you could have a hearse as well, unless of course you already do and I have missed it.
  21. The Heartbeat scene is looking really good. A good collection of vehicles you have there. The only ones missing are the red Morris truck and Scripps taxi service.
  22. Hi Kal / Jaz Just stumbled accross this layout thread. This looks to be an amazing project. The scenic work is spectacular and the attention to detail is superb. I will definitely keep up to date with progress and look forward to seeing it develop further.
  23. This is an awesome layout. The scenic work is brilliant as is the range of locos you have. I really like your RHTT.
  24. I am guessing that this sign includes a train to remember the Mid Suffolk Light Railway that ran from Haughley to Laxfield. I live not far from the museum dedicated to it at Brockford. Would be really useful if I was a steam enthusiast but I prefer diesels.
