It is a great way to uncouple do I see right you have a peace a wire hanging down ? When I did mine I only but the wire at a 90 to the tention lock but used high power magnets. Hope this helps. Cheers Ian

i did find that doin the wiring with the layout on its side to be far far easier than to struggle led on your back i did also use some peco wire clips. . they come with a sticky pad but i choose to use a little glue so safe measure. . .it will not be long before you have a loco running another tip clean your track before you test ive just spent the last week cleaning all my loco and track because they were dirty but i didnt know the track was dirty til i got the liquid track cleaner out i thought just the rubber ones would be ok look forward to your next update cheers ian

well i finally got my new speaker in last night but it was running like a bag of spanners. . .a pick up had come off and Bachmann,s famous 2 ton of grease on the pickups , even without a speaker in the tanks (not enough room in this one!). how come there isnt any room i have one with only one tank that now has the small speaker in but with lap top speaker you get great sounds out so and it looks ok as ther is around 4 mm each side ian

looking good ive noticed you have a 3 way point and just wondering have you thought about point control i have also have a 3 way on newchapel have have gone for a 3 way push button so which ever way the point is it will only go the way and it works great i was goin to go with a point decorder but chose toggle switch as i can opparate with one hand and the points box is at the other side of me . .having took it to the club last week to try its works great and i am also next to the viewers so chatting is easier . . .. cheers ian

biffs 25 is great i have it just playing with some speakers atm for better sound i have already put a bass reflex in the tanks but i have another thats got the 24 sound as to make them sound different on my layout for that one there is only one tank and a found a 4 om 2 watt 20x12 the sound is unreal may but putting it in a few more will post when done cheers ian
