  1. Hi Folks I'm sure I've seen a layout that has a one piece removeable photo backscene but I can't find any information anywhere? Does anyone know where or how I could get something made up (2ft tall by 30ft long). Thanks Chris
  2. Inspection Saloon Caroline ideally ready built but would also be interested in a unbuilt kit
  3. Just seen the layout at Bristol and just found it here on RMweb - really impressed
  4. James they really look superb, looking forward to seeing the layout at Telford

  7. James, once again that is superb work, that HST has to be one of the best modern image models I've seen.
  8. The cement silos are to be built (if planning goes through) on Howard Quay, not Victoria Wharfs (although Howard quay is owned by Victoria wharfs ltd!?!) - the rail connection is still there but from what the planning says it will be road served
  9. Take a look at the buildings on Royal Parade and Derrys Cross in Plymouth (Google street view) - defiantly a lot of 60's Concrete going on there!

  14. Looking great, keep up the good work!
  15. Just been in to Colletts models today, bought a few bits as you do! Top bloke who runs it, very welcoming, even had a cup of tea made for me whilst I was there...
  16. Fantastic modelling there Alex, I've just read the whole thread from start to finish... Its amazing how many layouts are technically very good but fail to capture the atmosphere - But Diddington does both incredibly well. Cheers Chris
  17. Guys that really is superb, possibly one of the best bits of modelling I've seen to date, keep the photos coming please!
  18. Fantastic to see it back, i look forward to seeing tonbridge at the shows, this was the layout that got me into modelling!
  19. Ahh ok, does anyone know where the scrap that has been running out of Tavistock yard lately has been originating from? I just assumed it was local loading
  20. Just stumbled across this post... Ref Jans post about the submarine that was buried, it's actually underneath my place of work! On the opposite side of the river is Yacht Haven Quay (the old gasworks) - our dry stack marina is built over the top of two old dry docks, one of which holds the remains of an German submarine... As far as I know aren't EMR still loading scrap once a month to go by rail? Cheers Chris
