  1. I can reassure you that several of the North Devon layouts are now in the hands of others. I knew Geoff Drew well from having helped organised the West Cornwall Exhibition for some time. One of their layouts, the wartime one I think, had such realistic wakes to the boats that the first time I looked at the layout I found myself slowly leaning to compensate for the 'movement' of the boat! 2. I thought you had sneaked in a prototype photo of the Western on the bottom of the first page. Superb modelling, extremely realistic. Simon
  3. A very fine example of T'Cut gates. Glad to see you have modelled the overflow outfall as well, an often missed detail as I suspect very few people realise that canals actually have a flow to them. Simon
  4. Hi David, Only just caught up with this Topic. Would you be prepared to sell an HO version of the kit of the Plate Steel buffer stops and if so for how much? They are just like some I need for my Swiss layout. Simon
  5. Hi Dave, Have you tried this method:- http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/2978-waverley-west/page-50 Simon
  6. Hello Ray, Thanks for the information. Looks like I will have to make up 'welded' sides instead. I got a Walthers Cornerstone traverser on that well known auction site but the traverser deck is very narrow and not very prototypical for Swiss, which is where the layout will be based. Simon
  7. Hi Guys, Is the quoted length of 352mm for the entire length of girders, back to back, or for each side of a bridge with the girders back to back? Will it make a bridge 352 with both bridge sides having detail on both sides? I am thinking of using these for both the sides of a traverser which is 289mm wide. Simon
  8. Great Layout, Remember seeing it at Plymouth Show. Especially liked the open shed with its detailed interior. Simon
