Not a west country hut I built a j19/2 & it was a joy to build & runs beautifully. The chassis is fold up I think & makes it easy to make with a fool proof compensation system

  4. superb news on this one Dave, but can we one in OO one day, pretty please! Just wanted to say what a superb list of locos you have coming out,i can see these are going to be flying of the shelfs!! all the best Matt
  5. the good shed is simply superb buddy, some great modelling given me the inspiration to have a go at scratch building my own good shed when i get round to it, and shall be using this thead as refereance, look forward to seeing more mate all the best Matt
  6. Just spent a while reading back through this thread, all i can say is what a superb layout, its a credit to the skills of Ray and Polly, really has got me thinking about DCC now for mine!! Look forward to seeing more updates guys, this is something special All the best Matt
  7. Doesn't fit into my modelling time span or era, but what a lovely looking little model, bodes well for the Dukedog which i have my eye on
  8. i know these locos were more widely used on the cambrian routes, but could i realistically get away with running one on a layout set in and around Devon/Cornwall?? I will end up getting one as they simply look superb from the images, just wondering if i can get away with it...........
  9. Budgie, If this was the case then why have many of the same classes been done a few times over, this is called progress my friend, i'm sure Dave could produce a loco ( please let it be a 14xx ) that would not only look better then the Hornby model, sorry the airfix model, and perform better then it too, as Dave says it does work and i think it could be a winner for DJM. All the best Matt
  10. Hi Dave, (All in 00 please) I'm gonna go with a loco that has been mentioned a few times already, and one that just completes the branch line scene, yup the little 14xx/48xx, a fully detailed version with a lovely new chassis would get me parting with my cash ( although the airfix model still looks a handsome little loco, i feel a new model would sell well!) To continue with the branch line theme, a new 43xx or a new tool manor would be most welcomed by myself too, a Dean Goods would be interesting to see too As you can probably tell i am a Western modeller, but i'm sure they will all appear one day, Good luck with this venture though Dave, i wish you every success and will hopefully support you one day when the right model comes along that fits in with my layout, by parting with my hard earned cash All the best Matt
