  1. There's a special place in hell for people whose eyes are glued to their devices while walking along. And for people who cycle/drive while on their device. And for cyclists who cycle on the pavement.

But the most special place in hell, right between Satan's butt cheeks, is reserved for the total a-hat who was on his device, while cycling in the dark, without lights (except the one emanating from his screen) in a pedestrian area. Of course, neither of his hands were anywhere near the handlebar, or brakes. :mad_mini:

I suspect that he may come a cropper with that kind of attitude to safety sooner rather than later. Let's hope no one is hurt.

I bet they were wearing dark clothing too.

I pity the pedestrian they mow down, or the driver who they negligently ride in front of.

My own horror story.  A few weeks ago,  I was crossing traffic lights which had been on green for some minutes late at night. As I did so, a loon on an unlit bike wearing dark clothes and no protective gear, came through the red on my left and zipped across my front just a bit more than a cars length ahead.  I couldn't give a f**k about him, he'd have damaged MY car, and I'd have spent the rest of the evening helping the police with their enquiries.

Idiots are idiots whatever their mode of transport.

At least idiot pedestrians and idiot cyclists are mostly only a danger to themselves.

Idiots in motor vehicles are by far and away the most dangerous.
