How did we get from warp-speed snow to curries? Ahhh I get it, it must be the Enterprise's Lieutenant Commander Bhajee driving Julia's car!

Now then Julia -you know you can get it right even if it takes a couple of goes sometimes. Just look at the railcar and how that has turned out after giving you a lot of worries - so don't give and please move the wall before chucking anything at it.

It must be something in the water tonight! I've had a two steps backwards, 2 steps forward kind of evening! Time to stand back and re-group in the morning I think!

Sometimes, a break from it all is necessary... I'm hoping that the new year brings improvement for me... so I hope your troubles ease too and it all starts to come back together very soon.

no pressure then! the firebox is all over the place! Tapers everywhere...

The only boiler I tried was a #2 based in the plans for Nightingale in GWRJ because I plan to build a Bird series Bulldog at some point. I should really get it printed and see whether it looks okay, or not. If it is okay then I will know how to model and cast the rest. The software I use makes the boiler pretty straightforward but the belpaire fire boxes are not. If we can manage to provide castings for boilers and fireboxes then we will be a long way to creating whatever GWR locos we like :-)

You should have consulted the Captain first. He can roll a tapered boiler on a parsnip without the need for drawings.
