The show will encompass up to 35 layouts, extensive trade and society support, demonstrators (including the club's Foxley Service Centre - Loco Diagnostics & Cleaning Service), static exhibits & charity raffle, making over 100 stands in total. Please check our website for further details (directions, layouts attending, etc.). Thank You. NB: Charity Raffle – In aid of the Association of Bexley Charities ‘78. The venue can be reached by Longfield railway station (5-10 minute walk away), Arriva bus services 423 (from Dartford and Bluewater) and 489 (from Gravesend), and Go-Coach bus services 433 (Sunday only), 474 and 475 (all three from Bluewater) and 489 (Sunday only) (from Gravesend). The buses stop at Longfield St. Marys Way, Longfield Brickfields Farm and/or Longfield Railway Station. All stops are 5-10 minute walk from the venue. Some services may stop at Longfield Academy itself. There are no Sunday services for the 423, 474 and 475 routes. There is a sizeable free on-site car park, full disabled access (including toilets), a large refreshment area (300+ seats) and an extensive range of hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices.

    The exhibition listings have been more or less finalised, aside from any last minute drop outs, and can be found here. ​However there is some trade space available and anybody interested should contact the Exhibition Manager Paul Plummer by email (erithmrs@gmail.com) or by mobile (07736 560956) as soon as possible. It might be gone by tomorrow! ​I merely maintain the club website, do some publicity, do some club admin bits and produce a quarterly fanzine for the members of the club.

    We have had a pretty good weekend for what is the club's smaller show (our larger one is at the end of January). The clear-up yesterday afternoon went well and we were all finished by about 5:20pm. Our new OO gauge layout Fleet Lane gained a fair bit of attention on its debut and has already got three invites for other shows. Our Exhibition Manager Paul Plummer is looking to sell one of his layouts Foxley Junction TMD (8ft by 6ft, OO gauge, DCC). He can be contacted via the club's Contact Us page. Plenty of photos of the exhibition have been uploaded to our Facebook page and please feel free to add any comments about the show on this thread. We will consider them and other feedback we receive and see if we can make any improvements for future shows. ​Thank You.

    Set up this evening has all gone well. Everyone who said that they were turning up this evening, did turn up. The rest will be setting up tomorrow morning before we open at 10:00am. The only change is that the layout Elwyn Flats is not attending, but we do have a club member's layout Rockmount in as a replacement. Our new OO gauge layout Fleet Lane will be one of the first things to greet visitors on entrance to the show.
