hello all, have a question, how do I replace an already ballasted and glued section of track with a switch? To take off the ballast and cut the track for the equivalent of the length of the switch, I see. But then how to connect the rails with the new element? Solder and wire running under the track plan? As there will be no way to connect with fishplates since the rails on both sides of the element to be added are fixed… 🤔 If you have ideas or photos of such an operation I am interested. Little operating session of my scale model locomotive class 37033 from Bachmann, a renumbered and adapted version.

Here is the second video on the presentation of my new class 37 fleet that I was able to partly finance by reselling a few copies of the previous generation. I start with the 37033 which is a unique model (for the moment) that I had renumbered and weathered before proceeding to modify the front faces.

Hello thank you for your large reply. With zimo plux 22, it's more difficult to see which pin connected to the fan. In the Deluxe version the fan start at the same time than motor and same time the locomotive run. 🙄

Original factory zimo… juste included with a DCC sound model, not deluxe… not a people who have the deluxe version but perhaps people who know very well DCC digital Zimo product. thank you for your help,
