Enjoyed my visit this morning. Great selection of scales on show. Luckily it's only 5 minutes from home for me. Trying to decide the way forward, I have absolutely no models or track after selling the lot, so i'm looking at either OO or O gauge for the future. I have 14 foot X 9 foot L shape space available.

The nameplate did look very plastic and out of place, needs to be cast to look right.

Well the house move happened and we have been here 5 weeks. Looks like the new home for my layouts will be in the garage after I line part of it. The temptation to fill the entire 21x9 feet is strong but where would I put all the junk.

Well we exchanged contracts on Monday (14th) so everything is on hold until after we move house on the 23rd of May, Hopefully!!!!

Managed to put a frame on the baseboard this morning and add a fiddle yard board. And the underside with slots cut out for the wiring run. There is a lot of wires because I isolated the point frogs and polarity switching is now through the point motor auxiliary switch. Seep point motors are fitted and will be supplied by a Peco Capacitor discharge unit. There are no isolating sections as I can only ever see one Loco in use at a time. I am going to make some cassettes for the fiddle yard tonight at work (Hopefully). Only thing to figure out is how to power the cassettes when connected to the approach tracks?

In the process of getting ready to move house and dug this old layout out of the garage - I have already done most of the wiring - Just need to add a frame and fiddle-yard. Then try and figure out a scenic design.
