I went with a grubby brown to make them look dirty for my Peckett, specifically sleeper grime, but I could be way off to be fair

What an interesting post Ian!! In fact I think calling it interesting is an understatement!! It is nothing short of inspiring. I have missed your blog and I look forward to seeing more posts when time allows!

That is beautiful!!! The effort put into the lining really shows!
Don't suppose you fancy doing my SECR one?! LOLGary

Hi Gary, post 155 of Midland in London refers, but briefly entails drawing in Autocad or similar, printing with a laser printer back to front and transferring onto the surface (in this case plasticard) by wetting with nail varnish remover and pressing down hard. Loads of fun and very versatile.
Thanks Richard,
I shall have to give that a go. At the very least it will save all the double sided tape I use stick drawings down to cut around them.

At the moment my thinking is to transfer the drawings onto plasticard using the nail varnish remover method
Hi Richard,
Can you explain this method for me as I am not familiar with it?
Cheers,

Looking good. Interesting about the Sentinel decoder. I might have to add that to my list of things to do!!

That's excellent thanks, I have added a lot of detail to my Terriers, including things you can't see, but have never added a firebox light I may have to try this for myself, All mine are also DCC with the decoder in the smoke box.

Love it, have you got any pictures of what you did to the terrier to fit the LED??

Very nice Ian, good to see you posting again.

But Terriers can go from the 1870's up until today (kind of)

It looks good. Especially the terrier! Every layout should have a terrier........ or 5!!

Hi,
I think the layout looks interesting, and your being a tease with that image at the bottom. I look forward to seeing some more of it.

Looks like a good first plan to me. Always best to start off simple while you get used to the skills. I can't speak about how prototypical it is as I'm not very good at that, but as long as you know what you want and it meets those requirements you should be fine.
I used AnyRail to design my first layout and printed a full size plan off and spent ages pushing trains around to make sure it had operational interest before I laid any track.

That is beautiful. Absolutely love it

That wagon is stunning. I wish I could build things like you do.
I'm extremely thankful that we have people like you to make these kits for us.

Very nice. Before I started on my LBSCR layout I used to model a fictional Great Southern Railway also with a Blue livery and the passenger stock livery was identical to yours! What are the chances.

Thanks Ian, I really appreciate comments like that. I got randomly motivated by a section of the layout this week and have made a massive change and am looking forward to posting the update showing it off.

Mine have entered the list of projects to do, and unless I start a new thread for it they will appear on my Oak Hill thread when I do. I'll drop you a PM to let you know when it happens.

That coach looks great Ian. I have been looking forward to reading this since the last one and you have not disappointed. Well worth the wait.

Definitely an avalanche, and this is exactly the type of modelling I enjoy.

Looks good. I am considering doing the same having followed Simon0r's thread and being very impressed with the results.

My vote will always be for the Sharp, but it makes sense to do the simpler project, but even so, do the Sharp
