    What is also encouraging is the numbers ordered already and the order line is open until 30th April so will be a nice production run I suspect but also (hopefully) a good fundraiser for the NRM.

    Out of curiosity will these be compatable with the Hornby set or would a complete set of etchs be needed for a rake?

    I had initially thought that the etchs were for going over the existing Hornby bodies (suitably modified) but the impression im now getting is that they are for building an entire train from the etchs

    I am led to believe there is no limit on orders and all orders placed before end of april will be honoured (subject to a max of 2 per person)

    I am really pleased that my guess was right and I will be placing my order tomorrow as it will fit in nicely with my APT-P development plans. I am shocked at the value for money we are getting it's a LOT cheaper than I expected!

    Excellent news Shane, your timeing could be perfect as I have (once latest delivery arrives) obtained enough sets for a 10 car rake. Looking forward to hearing more, your only down road from me as well if you need another guinea pig for testing purposes
