  1. Ah cheers, I was looking at eBay and 00 gauge! Must say they do look lovely!
  2. Where did you find these please, I've been looking but can't see them
  3. I have set up a business with a long term aim of doing a rapido but that is long term as costs per loco of molds are about £250,000 each. I cannot see wagons being a whole lot cheaper.
  4. Have you tried taking out a business loan lately? Trust me it's something I've been looking at but it's not as easy as people seem to think to raise thousands of pounds just for one initial wagon. Locomotives are easier as DJM would tell you but even that is hard work!
  5. Did you ever post anywhere how exactly you created the coupling for these?
  6. Hi Shane, Any updates on your kit for intermediate cars?
  7. Question has to be is it worth trying to resurrect existing moulds or start afresh?
  8. I don't think anyone looks on it as something that would support a family, more as a project to be self financing to produce more of the same and in time improve on the quality etc.
  9. If three machines can be for for £500, why not build a pot of £3000 and buy several and keep the moods permanently in the machines
  10. Any idea if you have to pay up front?
  11. Hopefully the extra coaches will be available to bring it up to a 9 car train
  12. They are concentrating on other existing projects until the exchange rates settle down so they can work out costs and from that prices
  13. I agree, I did suggest a tie up with them, no doubt it allows for someone to develop a detailing kit
  14. Visited the Rapido stand this morning, they will not be doing the coaches is what I was told which is a pity.
  15. Oh thank god someone taking some of my patients me reducing my workload, can you take some more please, it's a tad too busy these days
  16. Note to all. Please remember that an arrest does not mean guilt, it is also a tool to preserve evidence.
  17. The Hunslet 0-8-0 is actually one that I fancy doing, there does not appear to be any curves to worry about!
  18. For me it's the unusual prototypes that I like to see, something different that no one else would have. To that extent I am drawn towards the 0-8-0 and jack shaft drive diesels. Shane
  19. Just came across these kits and loving look,of some of them. Is there any recommendations on which one to start with as a first timer in 4mm scale?
  20. I will be ordering when I have spare cash, is there an order deadline?
  21. Will there be NEM socket for Kate couplings?
