  1. Hi, I currently have a CMNL Dennis Dart 2 (MPD) and I need to remove the silver and blue, (bus is route Surrey Connect 426/446 branding) paint from the emergency exit door, which is clear plastic due to being part of the glazing, but i need to keep the red base paint. I have messed up one model and need to start from scratch with it. I don't wish to damage the second model. I have used Silvo polish on the glazing to removing the silver and blue from the glazing. I have also used Acetone free nail polish remover, this is too harsh on the plastic! So other than removing all the paint on the door and repainting just the door, does anybody have any other suggestions? See pics attached
  2. Saturday saw a good turn out at Kempton Steam Museum, we had a lot of interest from the public and received some great comments on the layout and from the Kempton Steam Museum staff as this was the first time the museum staff have seen the 'new Northwick' with all the modifications an upgrades we have added. We were running a quite extensive steam engine fleet with rakes of carriages and freight, we had a nice selection of Diesel Multiple Units running along the layout. along with the famous British Rail Class D16/1 ex LMS 10000. Photos of this event will uploaded soon.
