    I really enjoyed reading your blog postings on this line. I hadn't realised that the tidal race at Ballachuish was so violent. That aerial shot was an eye opener.

    The blog also linked to a video of Sir Francis Drake in SR Olive livery, will Hornby have coaches to match? It would be a pity if Hornby didn't release accurate LMS coaches to run with the Caledonian Blue Pacific.

    I saw one of those in Green at Kidderminster Station last night in Bachmann's display cabinet. It looked impressive. Unfortunately there was no battery power left in the camera when I saw it. Perhaps another SVR visitor might have taken a shot.

    Not often that a model of this calibre appears. You might have to shell out to buy it, though you might want to wait for a magazine review.

    Enjoyed the programme, plenty on engineering skills, problem solving, team work, motivation and management techniques. Had a brief look on Twitter and noticed a large number of very positive comments about tonight's episode. That trestle bridge building was a highlight.

    In the summer, a Bristol Scout was exhibited outside The Royal West of England Academy. I watched it being assembled prior to its day in the sun. This is about the rebuilding of the aircraft. It has been flying at The Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire, and there are clips on youtube. https://bristolscout.wordpress.com/
