Well worth painting the rood grey-black and adding passengers. Unfortunately still haven't found a suitable driver. -
I'm still amazed the Beverly managed to fly, I did hear a story once that in a high wind it actually was seen going Backwards! They were based at RAF Thorney Island when I was a lad in 1963

Vehicles for Gasworks

I like the idea of the tricycle and the manager's car unfortunately the Morris eight is 1938 although a Morris seven would do. I will probably do a bikes plus a rack as well -

I want to add some activity into this area of the Gasworks and as a starting point would like to add a suitable vehicle. Has anyone any suggestions for the year 1936 that would be appropriate? By the way the picture looks a lot better on my phone

Finally got around to adding crew to some locos, used one's from Dart Castings, don't see the need to spend a lot of money on Model3U one's since you see very little of them.

Just found this layout I used to travel everyday in the early 70s from Tywardreath, near Par to RAF St.Mawgan over the Cornish Alps Nice to see someone else using Will embossed coarse stone sheets, it's a great material to work in -
GWR Class 3800 No.3803 just under the signal for the goods line Railcar just pulled into the station St. Ettarre just pulled in with it's pullmans
-
Decided to run a full schedule today with all the trains under signals. 57xx 7788 just passing the signal

Well I couldn't finish the Water crane painting owing to my Precision Paints No.1 Stone having dried up and the impossibility of getting a new tin at the moment with out paying a fortune. So just imagine the grey is stone No. 1. Also shows how the end of platforms 4 & 5 has changed with addition of loading gauge signals, new running board and new platform lights. Will eventually get some crew for the Dean Goods! Wonder what's in that Packing Case?

This is how I did verdigris using Games Workshop pot of Citadel Technical NIHILAKH OXIDE for £2:50 which is for doing verdigris on copper. I gave the cap a coat of Tamiya XF-6 Copper first and then applied two coats on the new paint, very pleased with the result -
Went for using flock in the end, then spent an hour sitting on the patio carefully gluing each clump of flowers on. After seeing this will probably add a water crane at the other end of the platform. Of course having done this I need to do the other platform. However I never added a named side for the goods line, and perhaps now would be a good time to do it. So I need to purchase another sign kit. However since were purchased for the first version of Barkham Green many ages ago and I no longer know if they are still made.,anyone got any useful info on this?
