  1. OO Scale Blue Pullman, just class.
  2. Excellent model, puts some of the "big boys" to shame. Keep up the good work lads.
  3. I will be showing a small O scale layout at TVNAM show in June and I intend to sell all my stock before the end of the day. 3 CP Rail locos, 24 freight cars.
  4. Where can you add your name for a Class 50? Are all the crowd funded ones already gone??
  5. I think he is just going by Heljan's reputation of being so close to great models but then usually slipping up on something really noticeable. Examples - class 37 side windows, class 25 face, etc.
  6. Great stuff lads. Keep up the good work even if it is St paddys day!
  7. Great layout, lovely Locos, keep up the good work
  8. I was just wondering where did you get the decals to renumber the thumper?
  9. Called here yesterday for the first time. Well stocked model shop with friendly helpful chat and advice. Recommend a visit, and of course a little purchase as well.
  10. Rather ironic that here I am modelling CP as a loner! http://cprailmmsub.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/great-canadian-model-railroad-in.html
  11. Irish Rail stock with plug doors would be a great variation.
  12. I'm with you on the GP38-2. The ultimate Soo icon.
  13. Just like those pesky 08's that some people buy!! Get back to the "Soo"!!
  14. I know EMD's SD9's on the Southern Pacific were given this nickname.
  15. To be fair if any other consumer product was as flawed I would swiftly return it but modellers accept these things because we love the hobby. The UK market as it becomes more expensive will not accept as many flaws as in the past.
  16. The LRC coaches wouldn't be the best model to base anything on. They have some nice touches but the first run axles were useless, even the best pulling loco struggled with 4. The new axle solution is hit and miss. The lights flicker on and off and the coaches generally require a lot of work to get to run with a LRC loco at each end. One of the few North American models to require such patience in over 20 years of North American modelling. I do run my models on a regular basis. Gareth
  17. The best place to look for a Mark 3 coach modified for the high end market is The Belmond "Grand Hiberian" in Ireland. Some hopper style windows and also a viewing area on the end coach. Here are some photos. Search through the link. http://thewandererphotos.smugmug.com/2016Photos/September-2016/i-x5qHj9d
  18. I just hope that they have left the mold options to cover Irish Rail Mark 3's. I think they could do rather well with sales considering the amount of good Irish locos available and the IR Mark3's are now nostalgia thanks to the scandalous scrapping policy!!
  19. This was the one that was going to convert me to British O, but home from Telford without one so Canadian Pacific will still reign!!
  20. Great looking wagon and congrats to all the team and DJ for taking this on to help Irish modellers have yet more quality RTR
  21. Thanks Bif for the excellent Class 205 Thumper sound file. Great sound and thanks for the small tweak. Great customer service. Will be back for more soon.
  22. I always found this unusual as well. SLW produce the best UK RTR locomotive model on the market with great product support. Rapido Trains have so far only produced one UK product but have there own sub section. Murphy Models have produced more UK product than both the companies put together but don't seem to qualify either for a section.
  23. Can a sound file be sent as a download to an email? I have a lokprogrammer. I would love a 205 sound file.
  24. Found the problem. The 2 brass strips on the coupling system had managed to touch each other, once separated problem gone.
