  1. Samples look great. Another great wagon on the way!
  2. I think the real reason for designing the bogie gearing for over the ton running is that it can then be used on the Class 50 without redesigning it!!!
  3. I agree, but these lads are producing the Irish A class loco in likely batches of around 250 for very similar prices. So do a masterclass 31,37,50 or 55 in small batches like that and you will sell them like hot cakes. Especially when the versions available are getting out of date for modern standards and they are actually carrying a higher RRP than the price already quoted by Accurascale. All good fun, sure the guessing keeps us busy!!
  4. They are just after launching the largest numbered Diesel class in Ireland through IRM with many variations so don’t be surprised if its the class 47. Nothing phases these lads. But please can it be a class 50!!!
  5. Sorry to hear all the grief this has caused LLC. All the best with future projects.
  6. Thanks for the info, that's good.
  7. Do these TTS decoders work correctly with the Lenz DCC system?
  8. Sorry about your head. But as stated before the Select can be reblown, changed, upgraded firmware etc just the same. The problem you have is only with ESU Select FREE soundfiles. Which again isn’t the decoders fault. £70 Select decoders!! Dreaming of the day!!
  9. I think it’s been already stated several times in this thread that the chip can do everything a v4 can and that the full throttle free download files are probably the best sound files available. The disadvantage of not being able to install a genuine British sound is not the decoders fault. ESU failure to support the small British market with suitable free soundfiles is the problem. RIP off Britain springs to mind. One thing that is clear if the problem was with the decoder the American market would not tolerate it. When the rest of us were putting up with pancake motors the Americans had can motors and flywheels. Rapido have been using them after dropping Soundtraxx Tsunamis and there products are top of the range.
  10. The more recent ESU Loksound free download American soundfiles for Select and V4 are the very thing that brought the full throttle/ throttle hold feature to market long before any UK soundfiles. If you find the £70 Selects PM me. Thanks
  11. Only vastly inferior for what you want to do but technical facts have yet to be provided.
  12. Which works out at £98 once VAT, postage and handling costs are paid. Not cheaper than V4's. Because ESU doesn't support the UK market with free downloads doesn't mean the select is inferior.
  13. Could you please send a link for these cheaper Select decoders that you can find?
  14. Selects retail at £110. Top of the range with more outputs. I will give you £70 happily.
  15. According to the information at the SVR 50 013 was the original attempt. The grey body shell and large logo model 50 037 are the final version and this is what will go into production.
  16. 50 026 Is also carrying a livery never worn by that loco in BR service, but looks great. Sadly it wasn't able to join in the fun due to engine problems.
  17. Not guilty but what an excellent idea. Great event by the way. Can I have this one please!
  18. Derails are a joy to do mail order business with and very pleasant phone manner. Set the standard as far as I am concerned.
  19. I think that the drive system and sound compatibility being developed by LLC alone was proof of a superior product even if it had the same body shell as Heljan.
  20. Glorious is a fairly good effort, runs well.
