Thank you Steve. A blue class 121 bubble car is definitely on my wish list. I do have a Blue class 08 so will take some shots of that on the layout in the next few days. Regards Paul.

Thats a great question Steve. probably late 60's early 70's. I could see a blue class 08 with some fish vans working. Anything later I'm not sure would look right. I do want to get some fish vans and a small fishing boat for the layout. Regards Paul.

Hi Stewart, I sometimes get carried away taking photos without thinking about the reality of of a scenario. Its tight and the driver needs to drink plenty of coffee. Regards Paul.

Thank you Steve. A Loco and three wagons is the Maximum. I don't own any locos bigger than 0-6-0's I have always been a big fan of small shunting engines. Regards Paul.

Thank You Pacific321G, The Point is a Peco curved turnout. The cobbles are from Wills, I first paint them grey then I apply black over the top while the paint is still wet I wipe the black of with a cloth this leaves black in all the crevices. I then weather with powders. Some photos below to illustrate my technic. These are some cobbles that I produced for another of my layouts. Regards Paul.

Thank you Davey, The water was a bit of an experiment, I used a piece of water colour paper that I painted then applied PVA glue to create the reflection. The paper has a slight texture that looks like ripples on the surface. I still want to add a couple more layers of PVA. Regards Paul.

Welcome to Howl’s Bay. My latest 00 gauge small layout that I have constructed over the summer. The scene depicts a fictional dockside railway that serves a small coastal community. I have tried to keep the time period and location open so I can run different sorts of stock. ( purists and river counters please look away ). The layout measures 120cm x 30cm including the fiddle yard. The scenic section is 80cm x 30cm. All the track is code 75. I’m not very good at this writing malarkey so will let my photos do the talking. Question and comments welcomed. Thanks for looking. Regards Paul.

Thank You Gentleman, So originally Rural Goods started of being able to fit into a really useful wrapping paper box, but I took the decision to extend it and create an integrated single track fiddle yard. I made the fiddle yard scenic with the back scene also continuing, so when viewed from the front it creates the illusion that the layout is bigger. Hope that makes sense, picture 1 overall shot of layout, picture 2 single track fiddle yard. I sometimes also use a Peco loco lift to change stock. Regards Paul.
