If Accurascale do 37716 in current DRS livery within a possible second batch, I’d bite their hands off.
tbh, any 37 in the latest DRS 'swoosh' (?) livery would be a big seller I think - know I'd get at least one even if its not in service any longer!

Will the OO versions be in pairs also or just N garage?

GBrf plain triple set ordered just in time! Great looking wagon that has the visual of looking longer than it actually is!

Great News! Wallets already run off hiding! Another wagon and its variations that have been missing (certainly for modern day engineers trains) and allow for great variation of train formation and lengths - certainly for my short layout!
Only stumbled across this thread by accident so will certainly be aiming to make use of the early bird prices!
Well done!

Mine arrived today, taken in by a neighbour! Was really taken aback at how small their boxes were - gotten too used to the ever increasing box sizes! It still feels safe and secure though!
had a brief look at one tonight and it looks fantastic! Can’t wait to get them out properly to have a look at! Great looking Model! Well done!

Nothing yet but am at work atm, hopefully they’ve left it round the back at home if it has arrived.
Did receive a text from “Royal Mail” last night saying I have a parcel due but it has a £2.49 shipping fee - scam and delete!

Agreed Richard, suspect most/a lot of people, me included, have ordered two with a view to renumbering one either themselves or by others.
Yes possibly allows for a second run given the 20/3’s are somewhat limited in numbers but when that’ll be no one other than Bachmann will know.
From the photos I’ve seen on here, FB & Instagram these look great and can’t wait for mine to arrive.

We just need somebody to make an 88 now....
Fingers crossed one of their yet un-announced projects is this, more patiently waiting.
Great announcement and sure they’ll fly off the shelves again. Packs 1-3 duly ordered!

New nuclear waste containers for the PFA’s it is! Plus new runs of Cawoods & LLNW
Their taking my money again! Great call Accurascale!
-
As to what the mini announcement is I’m going with loads to go with the HYA/IIA Hoppers? Or yes other container variants for the PFA’s would be a very good shout.

Quick question - does the non sound version still come with the speaker fitted to the model?
I believe so, don’t have one of the magazines with a review in them to hand to check atm.
Looks like they’re starting to get out there. Just seen a post of Instagram of someone who’s bought 2 and received them today.

As these are due in the coming weeks, thought best check decoder supplies and realised these are using the Plux22 DCC decoder sockets, any recommendations on which make of decoder to get for these?
Seen Bachman have made one via Zimo, think I’ve seen ESU and Lenz version also.

These look fantastic! Well done Gents! Looks like Q2 is going to be very busy for my credit card and the postman with the 37’s also!
‘quickly jumps on various photo sharing websites to look for short rake/wagon transfers and for mixed livery rakes to justify buying a couple of packs’
Presume the discount is only for multiples of the same wagon type or will it work for the others as well? for example 2 packs of shorty’s and a full length HYA/IIA pack?
The biomass ones were looking likely to land in a shopping cart but these may have just jumped ahead!

Just seen this on YouTube of 20312 running on demo.

Wallet runs to hide....
In all seriousness of there is something up my street (i.e. present on the network at the moment) I'll be happy, but if not I won't be disappointed either as I have enough stuff I am waiting for already.
In the true nature of these threads, I'd be chuffed if it was a 68, 88 or a 93 (model to turn up alongside the real thing, doubt it though).
I do however expect this will be steam given the hints dished out here and there.
An 88 would be fantastic given the work that’s gone into the 92 and would certainly make my wallet run and hide! If it is great, if not will quietly keep waiting.
A lot of the comments about 4 wheeled and steam do make me agree that it will be going this way and make a nice addition to their range. If it is my wallet can come out of hiding - will have to wait and see come 12pm!
Sure what ever it is, it will be greatly received and of the usual bar raising standard that we’ve come to expect from these guys.

Would be surprised if they didn’t do another, hopefully corrections made, run in the future but maybe not the 30+ (?) variations they did in the first run. Think that was more of a marketing tactic.
Maybe 6 or 8 different livery’s or running numbers could be a good next run. Maybe announced latter end this year for release Q2 the following year? Just a guess, no idea on the commercials or time scales for this type of project.

I was half expecting (hoping) for the simplified livery to the ex Scotrail pair to be announced/released with them - oh well, maybe in the future.
Am tempted by a TPE and it’s non-yellow ends but struggling to justify getting one atm with everything else on pre-order. It is a very striking livery I have to admit though.
-
Thanks for the update Fran! That’s fine by me, totally understand- gives me more time to actually get power to my layout to run these!
Sure they’ll be worth the wait!

I do like Bachmann’s quarterly announcement/release plan, certainly helps with keeping track of what you’ve got on pre-order or planning ahead.
If the DRS 57 was in the latest swoosh/68/fade livery, there would have been an email off to my local model shop pre-ordering one rather quickly - oh well the wait continues and the wallet takes a breather.
some nice things coming up though,
-
If anyone’s after a low level nuclear pack Paul at Alton Model Centre had a set on display still.
Think they had a British gypsum pack and British fuels red on display also.

Hello,
really like the new JIA wagon run, have 2 from Kernow’s limited edition run so seriously considering some of the weathered ones now to go with them. Initially thought the price seemed a bit high but slowly coming round to it (paid £34.99 ea how ever many years ago). Like the different price breaks for the pristine and light and heavy weathered versions.
with EFE Rail, are these likely to be limited one off runs again or should we expect more re-runs/new running number runs in the future possibly?
