  1. While I’d love a KUA I’d be surprised they’d do one as they’ve typically done wagons in large variants/running numbers to date unless they are about to change tact?

Points carrier or anything like that would be very welcome.

what ever it is I’m sure it will be well worth the suspense!

  2. Stop it please, my wallet can’t take it any more! If this is just a warm up before Warley I dread to think what that release will be! Great announcement though. Look forward to seeing the stand Sunday.

Think 37609 will be dropping into a shopping cart shortly.

Talking 37609, a quick search on Flickr shows it with snow plough, don’t know if this is a recent addition but will your model come with snow ploughs?

  3. Just watched the Video via YouTube, geez they’ve really raised the bar with this model. Just need to build a layout now!

One question I’ve got now is, DCC fitted, what number function chip will be supplied as they mentioned 4 & 6 a number of times in there.

  4. I messaged Hattons about delivery and the airfreight service the last week, they didn't have a definitive date for leaving the factory at that time. Saying that, yesterday I adjusted my  order so 1 of the two on pre-order is now on the air freight service and the other arriving with the sea freight ones - no problem changing this so presume still no date yet.

  5. Just seen this thread but completed the survey almost immediately on receiving the email about it. Definitely a good shout for a widely varied market that’s changing constantly.

I’m a modern era modeller and would particularly like to see engineering  equipment/wagons such as sleeper carriers, salmon flats with and without the frames to hold track panels, tilting point carriers etc. There’s a broad range of kit that no one seems to touch in RTR form.

Look forward to seeing/hearing the results.

  6. Received mine yesterday and while wasn’t over taken with the factory weathering it does look better in person and there are subtle differences in the weathering if you work your way along the formation of the modules are fitted as they come out of the packaging. Some photos below. Currently layoutless so dinner table is a stand in. Overall lovely detailed model and pleased with it

  7. Very nice indeed, Dave. Is there any chance of showing the artwork for the versions which haven’t appeared yet? For example, the plain DRS.

Just looked at Hattons website and the DRS Compass and plain (link) are both on their website now along with some of the GBRF ones. Colas and a few Freightliner & GBRF ones still to be added by the looks. Looking good!

  8. With the success of the class 68, do we think a third batch is on the cards for 2019?

Hope they do but maybe do some of the higher running numbers. DRS Plain & Transpennine would be of interest. Maybe they'll half the new release numbers and make up the difference with 88's - subject to them getting the rights to produce it of course.
