  1. There's four in the centre, one at the back of a shopping centre, one down near the river (best for books), one near King Charles Bridge and the one that is best for second hand in one of the streets behind the main station. I'd also reccomend a visit to Pecky for the one there (an hour by train from the centre). If anyone wants details I can post them after a little research for addresses. I also have details for ones in Ostrava and Brno...
  2. That's been the norm for the top 4 this season, though, Colin, but they still need to break through the defence and score, something Liverpool didn't do against Chelsea (73%)... Anyhow I don't care, City won the Prem and Hammy the Spanish GP!!
  3. Well we did it the easy way this time Andy! A team that played as a team for the whole season unlike last season... Well done City...
  4. You mean a Reserves League?!
  5. Several of the big Premiership clubs were already looking at that, I remember reading about it about 6 months ago, though one club rather than three... the issue is that if that team does well and threatens to get promoted what do the "parent" club do?
  6. Dream on, United have got more fans abroad than in Manchester! The days of the big clubs having fans just from their city/town have long gone...
  7. Lies, damned lies and statistics...
  8. Someone mentioned the Baggies? Their fans I see at work seem quite happy with it knowing they haven't the money to do anything else...
  9. At least 4 minutes seems to be standard across the board these days...
  10. They do a motorizing kit for it in 16.5mm, check out the website!
  11. Hekttor's HO scale Muv69, converted to 760mm gauge (I also have the TT version for my new layout which should be interesting to motorize!): The HO scale Resin T29, also in 760mm gauge! I'm currently building the TT version of Hekttor's kit of this. There is also a plastic model of the shunter, but I don't know who makes it, I have a body somewhere around that I was going to use for the JHMD version before I located the resin and brass kits...
  12. My pet hate is "sports" where the decision is made by a panel of judges. Whilst I admire the skills of the people who take part in such "sports" (figure skating, gymnastics, etc.) I much rather have sports where the result on who is best is decided by time/number of points scored, etc., the "pure" sport as Steve said. Someone else's decision on who is best leaved me cold. As they've got figure skating and that snow boarding stuff in the Winter Olympics surely they should have Ballroom Dancing in the Summer Olympics. I suppose the question is what is a sport? A very grey area these days!
  13. Peco HOm/TT 12mm gauge for the trackwork, it seems to work ok for the Irish layouts I've seen that use it...
  14. You were definitely worth the win, Colin, I had a suspicion we'd lose, the team's not quite right yet, hopefully we can learn from it... Still tight at the top!!
  15. Yes, there's a lot of loco bits, I was thinking more about these, which they sell in HO and TT: http://www.eshop-rychle.cz/es-pecky/eshop/1-1-Es-Pecky/2-2-Es-TT-dop-ky
  16. There are some really good detailing bits (signs, etc.) available in HO and TT scale which I used on my HOe layout. The Czech Model Railway Cottage Industry is alive and well!
  17. Going back to the OP, you can model much of the narrow gauge stock in HO scale, using Liliput or the many brass kits that are around for the diesels and modern coaches. there's a fair bit available in TT scale as well, which seems to be still quite big over there if my visits are anything to go by. I have a couple or so threads going about Narrow Gauge, both prototype and model (HOe and TTe)... Marian, I have PM'd you as I need some help!
  18. Well done Sunderland... Shame as I'd have preferred our lot met Utd in the final...
  19. He's still there and produces most of those small "detail" bits you see at some of the other shops. The shop is well worth a visit, though be aware that he doesn't speak any English (or wants to!) but does speak German...
  20. Yes that's the one, last time I was in he also took credit cards as well. He does more than just HO, and has a fair selection of secondhand. Also worth a visit, though an hour on a local train is ESPecky: 5.května 245, 289 11 Pečky
  21. He is very good, I've bough things from him several times, last time direct using his website, he's also on a Czech forum I'm on. Buying from websites rather than from the shop can be a bit hit and miss, I've bought from four shops for my new TTe layout and have no problems but one particular shop I just cannot get the stuff from. Currently I'm trying to get some Czech friends to get the stuff from him! There's a small model shop in Ceske Budejovice which is not far from Tabor, just down from the station. I'm surprised no one mentioned the other model shop in Prague, behind the main station on Manesova which has a good selection of new and secondhand, the name eludes me at the moment!
  22. It's worth remembering that many main lines in the Czech Republic are single line, so restricting yourself to a "branch" line is not really necessary... As most stations are just a series of loops (the bigger the station, the more the loops!) even a three loop station could be a main line... I model narrow gauge, but the main station of the JHMD at Jindrichova Hradce is alongside the mainline from Ceske Budejovice to Brno yet is single line...
  23. Is also worth mentioning that he also does it in TTe (1:120) scale and also British TT 1:100 scale, though you'll have to sort out your own chassis for them!
  24. But he's hinting that he may have her back...
