  1. Twice in one night! Peope will start thinking I have lots of spare time on my hands It's looking like this beauty will be arriving in our shop next week. Stay tuned for further updates if you are in the market for one. I believe we have a reasonable number on their way, so shouldn't be too much of a rush! They are sold out at the warehouse, so we will only be getting one delivery. Seems to be the prevailing story this year. Cheers Martin
  2. Good evening everyone. Thanks to a bit of good fortune, we are premiering our sales emporium at Warley 2018. It is indeed a bit daunting, but none-the-less very exciting for us. I hope this will be a great opportunity to meet with a lot of you that have supported us over the years? and hopefully introduce a lot of new people to our cause. Do come and find us (I will post more details nearer the time), and see what we have to offer. What to bring is going to require a great deal of head scratching and preparation! but if you are looking for anything in particular that we might be able to bring with us? do let us know. sales@c37lg.co.uk There is a slim chance we may have an important, and 'exclusive' announcement to make... but everything is a bit fluid at the moment, so may not be sorted in time. All the best, and thanks as ever! Martin.
  3. We're very excited to have secured a lastminute.com slot at Warley. Thanks to those involved! You all come very highly recommended by our friends at the Deltic Preservation Society, and we can't wait! Some of you here already know us, but I hope to meet a lot more of you in person. Do come and find us, and see what we have to offer. There is a slim chance we may have an important, and 'exclusive' announcement to make... but everything is a bit fluid at the moment. Cheers! Martin. Class 37 Locomotive Group Chairman. www.c37lg.co.uk
  4. Gosh! I don't think anything in that video would be recognisable if you went to Gateshead now Michael? Thanks for sharing. Great memories of how it used to be. Martin.
  5. Blimey! Do you want a job Rob? How on earth did we not notice that change from the Pre-Order image, which I used here, and the final version. So called professional 37-philes Anyhow. All updated now. Thanks for the heads-up!
  6. That's an interesting comment Rob. I haven't personally seen one, but don't doubt you. I will take that back to Bachmann, as it's a bit naughty, and similar to 37401 being different to the original images.
  7. Thanks much! I hope you like it. That will be the last one we have now, and will be sad to see the end of them. It looks like 37688 is coming in as well, so at least the shelves won't be empty for long ☺ Thanks again! Martin
  8. Merl is back! Not somethingI was expecting to say, but we have been able to obtain one more from Bachmann. Was available here, but now sold: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153203491539 Also, 37049 "Imperial" in Triple Grey - Coal Sector is back in stock at £122 Now available here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163291718272 And also on our website for those of you that don't use ebay. We are slowly getting everything on here now. http://www.c37lg.co.uk/shopmain.aspx?category=models There is a good likelihood that we will be receiving the next round of Sulzer Type 4's - D3 'Skiddaw' in the very near future. If you are in the market for one? keep your eyes peeled for further updates. Many thanks as always Martin
  9. Bachmann 32-651A Class 44 44006 WHERNSIDE in Weathered BR Blue livery is now available to buy from us. Our next trip to the post office will be Friday, so don't hang around if you want one! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163267012315
  10. I have just been informed we have received 20 grubby 44006's this morning ☺ we will have them up for sale as soon as I get home from work. Well after a bit tea. Got to get the priorities right! Please don't all rush at once!
  11. Brilliant! And both preserved not 20 miles apart. It is a small world.
  12. Thanks Mal. Appreciate the comments, and thanks for sharing the fabulous photo. I will come back to you for a copy of that for our archive if that is Ok? Cheers Martin.
  13. A bit of an update over on ebay tonight. Lot's of odds and ends to be honest, except for new in this week: D9001 St Paddy (£127.00), and some rather fetching Maroon MK1 coaches (£33.50). https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153186062386 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153186075973 The rest of the items can be viewed via our general link. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html It really feels like we are approaching the summit of our journey to raise the money necessary to bring D6703 back to life. We gave ourselves a bit of a moral boost yesterday, by rolling back the clock half way on our journey back to 1960. It is always nice to share this journey with the many people that help make our dream a reality. ` All the best to you! Martin.
  14. The Guys were busy on it yesterday Jon, so please don't hold your breath
  15. We are looking forward to stocking this beauty in the very near future Do seek us out if you are in the market for one?
  16. Great to see a couple of RMwebers at North Weald today during their Diesel Gala. It is always nice to catch up personally with you. I have been asked to bring to your attention our last "Evening Star", (Bachmann 32-850A) which is now available for £145 inc. P&P If anyone is looking for one? This is, and will be the last Steam Locomotive that we stock. Rather ironic as it was the last one BR Built! You can find it here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163252735135 All the best! Martin
  17. Sadly not Classy52. It is out of region for us. Thanks for thinking of us though. Martin.
  18. The new Bachmann Rep Special for our Region: 37116; is now available to pre-order from us: 32-781SDDS Sound Fitted.£217.50: http://www.c37lg.co.uk/shop_item.aspx?category=models&item=2737 32-781SD Non-Sound fitted £140.50: http://www.c37lg.co.uk/shop_item.aspx?category=models&item=2736 Many thanks as always for your interest and support of our cause. Martin. C37LG Chairman.
  19. Well 31 years ago (Gulp!) it certainly brightened up a 14 year olds day while he was stood on Romford station getting his weekly freightliner fix Yes it was pure vandalism when Doncaster shaved 116. Totally original split box lost to one man's whim. All water under the bridge now; and very soon I will have the oldest and most genuine split box back out there for your pleasure
  20. We have now received notification of our allocation for 37116 (both sound and quiet versions) Keep an eye on our model shop guide thread, or the front page of our website www.c37lg.co.uk for the preorder details. Thanks to those of you that have been already expressed an interest in reserving one. Martin.
  21. Yes those would be the sort of prices we would be able to go down to on 37116 which is our regions offering. We're only taking expressions of interest at the moment while we confirm availability. A minor kick in the nuts this one actually! as this version of 37116 was in our top 5 subjects for the next C37LG limited edition model which we are just getting budgetary approval for. I think you'll like what is currently sitting in number one spot, but can't say any more at the moment...
  22. Just 9 Bachmann 37099 "Merl Evans" left in stock. Once they are gone, they are gone. This is a total sell out at the Bachmann warehouse, and we will not be stocking anymore; much as we would like another couple of dozen! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163219444170 If anyone is visiting the Great Central Railway diesel gala this weekend? we will be at Loughborough station with our mobile shop. We should have all our models with us, but if there is anything any one is especially wanting? do let us know so that we make sure it is in the van (Full range here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html) Cheers! Martin
  23. Hello everyone. Turns out it was very much a box of delights. We have 4 Bachmann 39-025E OO GAUGE BR MK1 SK Second Corridor Blue & Grey for you pleasure as well https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163220487010 Also, we have taken 10% off 70015 this weekend as we need to get it off the shelves as it is so blooming UGLY!! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163210380917 All the best Martin.
  24. Well the good luck keeps coming! We received another 16 Bachmann OO Gauge 37099 "Merl Evans" yesterday, which are now up for sale on our ebay shop. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163219444170 There are also quite a few new items joining it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html Have a great weekend! Martin
  25. Good evening everyone. Great news (For us mostly!) This weeks batch of 37099's has now sold out. Hopefully we should get the second batch by Friday next week; which should be around 12 locos by my reckoning. If anyone is still looking for one? I am more than happy to sell a further 10 (so we don't over commit ourselves, which would be embarrassing!) in advance, but obviously we won't be posting them out until 4th September at the earliest, appreciating that next week is a short one for Bachmann. Drop me a PM or email sales@c37lg.co.uk if you are interested in one. Thanks to those of you that managed to bag one from us this week. This was always going to be the 2018 release that made a real difference to the progress of 37003's transformation back into D6703. All the best. Martin.
