Good evening everyone
Not a lot done today, mainly pencil pushing, but I’ve now got a scale plan for the layout support. Well, to be honest, I’ve made several scale plans, one each for the lower storage level support, lower storage level base boards, upper scenic level support, upper scenic level base boards plan and inter-connecting helix. I’ve also got a complete cutting schedule, for the timber, to reduce the level of waste.
@woodenhead comment about our local Sainsbury’s earlier made me
grimacesmile, as I was caught up in the car park shambles yesterday. It struck me that most of the people in the cars had got more wheels than brain cells. They were depriving villages somewhere of their idiots. This evening we had our usual weekly chat with Vickie, catching up on how the kids are and how schools going etc.

Both Sheila and I aren't on, or do any sort of social media. The closest I get to it is on here! I personally don't see what all the fuss is about. From what I can gather, it seems to be full of self important wannabes and conspiracy theory nut jobs.

Good morning everyone
I was up early this morning for a 9:15 appointment at the dentist. All went well, with no need for any remedial work. So, it was back home for breakfast and I’m now sat in the dining room with a second muggertea. The wet weather has put paid to any work outside, so more planning is being done with regard to the layout framework support.
Back later.

There does seem to be a lot of thoughtlessness like this occurring at the moment. What with the ferago over the English kit union jack alteration.
It wasn’t the Union Jack that had been altered, it was the cross of St George.

Good morning everyone
Well, the weather doesn’t know what to do at the moment. One minute the sun is shining, the next the sky is dark grey, as it is now as I’m typing. Anyway, today will see me complete the Sainsbury’s Grand Prix, with the possibility of a visit to Waitrose this afternoon as well.
Oh the joy!
Best get a move on, back later.

Good evening everyone
The stored wood was retrieved from storage and then measurements were taken. Then cutting a schedule was drawn up to see how much more I need to buy. Other than that I’ve not done a great deal really.

Whilst I was at the kitchen sink at dinner time, I noticed a dunnock with nesting material in its beak, repeatedly head into the hedge, so it looks as though they’ve decided to nest there. Then, later this afternoon, I noticed a blue tit in the garden, which seemed to be showing a bit of interest in one of the nest boxes too.

Good morning everyone
Boy was I lucky yesterday, we had a full day of sunshine and warm(ish) weather and I spent most of it in the garden. Today, we have rain, although to be honest, it’ stopped a few minutes ago, but it’s still very wet out there, so nowt will get done outside today. So, the plan is to get a few decent lengths of wood that are stored in the underfloor storage area and measure and mark ready for cutting up. These will eventually become the legs and support structure for the layout storage area and helix.
Well, bettergetamoveon, back later.

Good evening everyone
Well, I’ve had quite a busy day in the garden. My first task was to assemble the mini greenhouse, so that I could put it in place. I then marked two spots on the wall, one either side and fitted two heavy duty eyes in the wall. These are for a bungee cord, which will (hopefully) prevent it from being carried away in heavy winds. I then put up two small bird boxes on the gable end wall, these are suitable for small birds such as blue tits etc. after dinner I planted 6 hellebores and then did a bit of weeding.
I’d just packed up when Vickie said she was calling round in about 30 minutes. This just gave me enough time to get washed and changed. When she did turn up, she was with Ian, Ava, Evie and Max. So a very pleasant afternoon was spent chatting to them all. Ian hadn’t seen the cellar since it had been finished, so I took him down to have a look. He’s quite impressed by how big it looks now. The last time he was down there, was when he was finishing off the plastering for me.

Good morning everyone
A quick look in before I head out to the garden to get a few jobs done. I recently bought one of those small pop up greenhouses, so that's one job I want to do. Not only does it free up space in the cellar, it'll be useful too! I also want to put a few more plans as well.
Back later.
