Sorry to butt in on your thread, but I thought I might mention, in case you are looking for track, that there's a shop in Croydon, South London, its one of those places that buys up old nick-nacks and furniture and offloads it at a low price, anyhow I was in there this week and they had a load of Peco HOm track, from memory it was about 3 or 4 of each of the curved left and right points, a bundle of flexi-track, and an HOm turntable.
Their pricing policy seems to be take the Peco list price and divide it in half. Some cheap scenic materials in there too, no rolling stock though.
I think the management have no real idea what they are selling although there's one or two guys who are ex-Modelzone working there who are a bit more savvy, they are just non-specialist box shifters really so it might be a good bargain for someone local (they don't have a web presence and don't sell online).
The shop is in the Whitgift shopping centre, it's where the old 'Allders' used to be. Not sure of the name of the place but if you go into the Whitgift centre, find the Costa coffee and it's just next to that. Go in the door and turn immediately left and they have what passes for a toys and models section.
