  1. Oh wow!!! That looks absolutely stunning. I wonder what the rake limit will be with you stating that they are quite weighty... Thanks for posting those Mick.
  2. Does anyone have any inside info on when preorder slot will 'reopen'? Really wanting to get these on order, don't wanna miss these then end up having to buy off some profiteer on good ole eBay....
  3. As mentioned before, better to wait an extra couple of months and get it spot on! All good things come to those who wait...
  4. To help clear any confusion with running numbers and colours, My local modelshop has them listed on his website: https://www.collettsmodelshop.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=Dapol%20hia They look absolutely superb and I have placed an order for a healthy rake. Really looking forward to receiving these beauties.
  5. Just come across this picture on Google images. Wonder if Hornby keep the tooling for these wagons and perhaps produce these 'plain' grey livery ones..??.. ***(Not sure who the picture belongs to but if it's against any rules or regulations, please remove. Apologies in advance)***
  6. Think that's the way forward ruggedpeak. Or on the other hand, could buy one and have a 66 hauling it off to a TMD for repair..??..
  7. I am tempted by these and would be looking to have a small rake of 8-11 wagons to compliment the Drax 60 I have on pre-order but am unable to buy this amount at the price of each wagon. My concern is that I'll buy 3 or 4 and then Hattons will have sold out by the time I have money to buy some more wagons... Certainly won't be buying if any come up on eBay at higher prices! Trouble is, I can't see Hornby ever producing anymore of these wagons in the future. Anyone know the exact amount being produced yet? Whether it's just 500 or 1000? And whether this amount is each of the two liveries or combined/total? Cheers, Shoey
  8. Superb loco you have there Mick! I like that a lot.
  9. I think a 66 would look lovely in this livery! Anyone a wizard with Photoshopping that could maybe post a picture or two?
  10. I just hope that these wagons are purchased by keen modellers rather than 'joe bloggs' buying in numbers then just waiting for them to sell out then list them on auction sites for ridiculous money!! ....... I know this is something we can't prevent, just something that irritates me. That's just my personal opinion and apologies in advance if anyone is offended by this. No harm meant.
  11. £83 per wagon! Welcome to 2016... Let's just hope this isn't the start of what will become the rrp of future wagons. I'm a one for detail and willing to pay strong money for detail but this price is quite a shock to the system. As mentioned before over 1k for 60066 and the 11 wagons used on publicity runs, best get some serious overtime in and get saving!! Cheers, Shoey.
  12. Thanks Phil! That's absolutely spot on. I shall have a crack at my two this weekend. Cheers, Shoey
  13. Superb workmanship Phil! I particularly like your PCA wagons. Can I ask with your Colas and DRS 37's, how have you fitted the ploughs and hoses? Have you plugged the ploughs into the front of the bogies? Cheers, Shoey.
  14. Just want to add here too that Collet models provides a 1st class service. As said before, Leigh is very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to get you what you want and at the best price he can do. ***No connection with the business apart from a very satisfied customer***
