  1. Are you teaming up with a particular Club to provide the stewards etc?
  2. A new range of drop-in wheelsets and components to suit Dapol diesels/electrics with pin-point axles will be introduced within the next few months. These have been developed as a private project by a couple of Association members. Edward S
  3. I see no criticism of any person or persons here, only of the material a particular product is currently manufactured from. It’s probably too brittle for its intended purpose and perhaps a more forgiving material is required? A large batch of 3D printed figures from Shop 3 have recently been replaced by the manufacturer, due to them being far to brittle.
  4. JLC Tools are available in the UK: http://www.modellingtools.co.uk/jlc-saw-anniversary-set-9975-p.asp Jerry, Richard Wilson and myself all bought ours at Warley from them a couple of years ago. The blades can be stacked up with the supplied precision spacers allowing several parallel cuts. The JLC cutting jigs are also very well made. Edward S
  5. Likewise please, we need more details on livery etc. I don’t wish to order anything that could only have been observed post-1965. Edward S
  6. Hi Tony What measurement does it set between the rail top and the underside of the buffing plate please? Edward S
  7. Total pie-in-the-sky this one. We don't know who is behind it or if a company has even been formed to progress it. No website either. RTR model production, even by crowdfunding, is a big boys game and this gentleman, who ever he is, is clearly out of his depth and under-resourced. Edward S
  8. Sorry, had to vote 'no' as its not a loco I could justify in my Yorkshire-based rosters. However I wish you well with it and know it will be a beautiful model if it does get to the market. Edward S
  9. The knotted hankie is not accepted Masonic regalia. I think it has Lancastrian origins and may be worn by Ecky-Thump Grand Masters, a sort of undress version of the giant flat cap. (If you don't remember the 'Goodies' on 1970s British TV then you may have to use Google to edumucate yourself...) Edward S
