  3. The Liverpool Echo stopped being a credible paper once the printing was moved out of the city to Oldham. The amount of basic errors of fact printed about local issues and places is just unbelievable and unforgivable.

  8. I was having problems this past week with the BRM online app on my iPad, which wouldn't download properly after the first few pages and wouldn't load the remainder of the latest issue. I deleted the app and then downloaded it again from the App Store and restored all the issues that I had previously downloaded using iCloud. It might be worth a try in resolving the problems you're having and shouldn't take too much time.
  9. Brilliant! It makes me feel like I'm back home in Liverpool even though I live in the States now. It's very realistic and I love the scene with Bessie! Great work and next time I'm back home I want to come and see it.

  11. UPDATE: Got the information I needed from the Hornby website. I need to remove the 2 small screws on the underside of the tender and the body will come off. Cheers
  12. Hi everyone, I'm just getting into the hobby and have just joined the forum. I recently bought a Hornby Flying Scotsman set that was made in 1999. It was in excellent condition and had not been used for many years, it runs but not great, so the loco and tender need to be serviced. The motor is in the tender, but try as I might, I have not been able to remove the body to get to the motor. Is there some sort of trick to removing it? I've looked at some videos on youtube and it seems like they just clip off from the side but I tried that and couldn't get the body off. I don't want to force it and damage it. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
