  1. Hi Iain, Narrow Planet offer some L&B styles... https://shop.narrowplanet.co.uk/collections/components/products/npc-016 Andrew
  2. I doubt if many exhibition venues would have a suitable licence and you would be responsible for obtaining one yourself - I think once you have seen the cost you won't bother.... https://www.prsformusic.com/licences
  3. Really Useful Boxes make a range of different size storage boxes which are ideal for storing scenic modules long-term, no matter what scale you choose there is no reason why you can't do some modelling and put whatever you make away to be used once you go ahead with the final model. http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/uk/html/onlineshop/fullrange_rub.php In the meantime it may be worthwhile planning out a potential layout in both 4mm and 7mm and looking at the space that will be required - it might help you to choose, the same way as choosing between N gauge and OO.
  4. The listing for 9952 on the Dundas Models site says "RELEASE IS EXPECTED APRIL/MAY 2018". https://dundasmodels.co.uk/webstore/index.php/hikashop-menu-for-module-108/category/499-Heljan-ready-to-run-models
  5. I see that the new Bunnings Warehouses have a timber cutting service, if you have one in your area it may be worth a phone call to see what sheet materials they offer.
  6. We've just bought some cakes in "Panera Bread" and were given a really strong cake box - the only issue ... it measures 9.25" x 9.25" x 4" - so it's now in the bin!
  7. Hi Craig, We're also off there soon and I've been looking without much success. I know that the trip to the local shop(s) is not worthwhile from previous holidays. I found this site: https://www.railserve.com/events/train_shows.html and they list the shows/fairs etc. Most of the Florida entries I've seen have been the wrong dates for us or too far away. I don't know if this one is any good for you: 61st Florida Rail Fair Saturday, October 7, 2017 Volusia County Fairgrounds DeLand, FL and I've got no idea what would be there! However, there seems to be a good number of entries for Florida. Andrew
  8. My subscription copy was delivered at 6pm this evening by the postman, not the first time recently that our post has been after 5pm.
  9. http://www.radiocaroline.co.uk Currently there is a choice between their Album channel or the Flashback channel (60s & 70s) on the internet. Caroline North returns most months via Manx Radio 1368 or the internet for usually the last weekend. I tend to switch between the channels depending on the DJ - it's nice to hear music that most other stations seldom play and with few ads. Radio Caroline has been granted an AM licence by Ofcom and will soon be back on 648kHz, covering Essex and Suffolk.
